Live Techs Hey man, Daniel is absolutely right, you have to fill yourself with the word and the Spirit- the word and the breath is how dry bones live again (Eze 37). Before God said He would put His Spirit in us and cause us to walk in His ways, He said He would clean us. A lot of people notice the Spirit part and ignore the cleaning part and wonder why it's not working. Jesus said, "ye are clean by the words I have spoken to you". The Spirit never acted alone. All of creation came through the corporation of the Spirit and the Word. Anyways, I'd like to add some other really crucial tips especially for areas of strongholds. The temptation usually happens in cycles but don't wait until it happens to act. Be proactive. The first key is to open your mouth and take authority over whatever it is bothering you. Call it by name. Don't just come against the spirits because there are spirits, roots and seeds and God knows what else. Say, "I take authority over every bit of anxiety in me and I cast you out IJN!" Then declare who you are in Christ based on the word, "He has not given me a spirit of fear... So you have no place in me. I reject you. Get out IJN!" Do this as often as you can (maybe take like 5 mins every 3 hours or so and you can titrate down as you evaluate the response) for about a week. If you feel it coming back, don't wait till it's strong, get in it full time again. The roots I mentioned earlier come from what we allow into our spirits. This is the launching pad that allow these spirits to keep coming back and making you miserable. Guard your heart with all diligence. Each time we meditate on the word, there's a living substance that gets Incorporated into our spirits and souls. Similarly, when we meditate on the wrong things there's darkness and death that gets Incorporated into our spirits and souls and take root. This is what gives our flesh and the enemy power over us as well as a safe place to hang out. When you're full of light, the enemy has nowhere to land so He doesn't. As a man thinketh in his heart so is he. Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. So guard your heart with all diligence. Take up the shield of faith and the word of God because fiery darts will always come your way. The shield and the sword are inseparable. We believe because it is written and we speak believing in what we declare. Don't just sit and let the enemy throw his silly darts at you. Open your mouth and speak in faith. Until we become like Jesus and have taken full control of our thought lives, we'll probably have to keep coming to God to uproot these dark things as we get exposed to all kinds of things when we go out into the world. Things from TV, the internet or just from offenses from people and the worries of this life actually does harm to our spirits literally. To be carnally minded is death (See Rom 8). These are not theories. This is coming from someone that tried everything else for years until the Holy Spirit taught me this. If you do this, you will find that even when tempted, these things no longer have a hold on you anymore, but don't get discouraged if you do fall. Just repent immediately and continue, you're not starting from square 1. Also, understand what justification is. When you repent and you're cleansed by the blood, God is not just saying, "I forgive you," He's actually saying, "You didn't do it at all, you're innocent of the crime." We use the word "justified" when a man is accused of a crime, but later shown to be innocent of that crime. That is you, you're innocent. Don't let the devil weigh you down with condemnation. Jesus didn't come to condemn the world but to save it. Work with Him. Now this last part may not be that useful to you but, a lot of (i.e. not every instance) body shaking that goes on in many evangelistic crusades are as a result of the confrontation of these dark spirits/roots/seeds and the fire/life of God. That's why some people experience the "fire" of God and all of a sudden their addictions are gone and the power of sin is broken from their lives. This is what's actually happening. If you're at that point where you shake whenever you pray or worship, understand what's happening- there's a confrontation taking place in your spirit and in your soul. You don't have to shake though, but if you do shake, you have an easy way to tell when those things are gone - you stop shaking... there's no reaction when you worship or attempt to uproot these things from your life. That's where you want to be. If you don't shake that's fine, just keep striking until your enemies turn to dust, then strike some more. Don't be like king Jehoash who struck with the arrow only 3 times when he should have struck some more (2 Kings 13:18-19). There's power in the name of Jesus. Blessings.

I feel shame and hatred towards myself because of when I sin. So I’ve been turning away from him and becoming so distant and it’s just made me unhappy. I’ve noticed that for a while I’ve been thinking worldly. But, I hope that I can rebuild my relationship to what it once was. I’m glad with this has helped me become closer to God. Brother David I want to say I have been saved and baptized in the name of Jesus since the end of June 2018 , but Before I got baptized I was seeking Jesus For a few months before that and been watching your video's and your Video's got me to have a closer relationship with Jesus. But before I got saved I was highly Depressed to the point of suicide , but I knew in my heart that if I committed suicide I would not be forgiven and not go to Heaven. So my last attempt ( because I tried everything else ) I turned to Jesus and something told me to open the Bible and start Reading and I did and then I found your video's here on U-tube and it changed my life. And after a while of reading the word I found ACTS 2:38 And that is when I found a church that Baptizes in the name of Jesus so I went and got baptized , I consider myself a miracle because Jesus took away my depression instantly after I confess my sins and he saved me from destruction and I thank him every single day. So now it has been months later and I still read the word , pray all the time ( sometimes 3 or 4 times a day ) , go to church , watch your video's , and listen to Christian Music. I have given up my old ways of doing things BUT I still Sin once in a while ( not meaning to ) and when I do the Holy Spirit convicts me and I ask for forgiveness right away. But I feel something is missing and I do not know what it is , I know the Holy Spirit is inside of me because I have spoken in tongues but only a few times. So now that I watched this Video I am going to study these scripture's and see if this helps me get back to where I was when I first got saved. I feel like the Hunger is not as strong as it was when I first got saved and I desperately want that hunger back if there's anything else you can suggest to me to help me get that hunger back please respond. oh pastor David.. Yesterday the holy spirit talked to me through a lady at a retreat I went to when I was in The holy sacrament.. He told me he had listened to all my Prayers, which being able to talk to him was one, and he has shown me he really has. I knew it was him when she said more than she was supposed to know. His presence was so strong and he told me he is giving me the gift of discernment. Told me my thoughts would be his, my words would be his (also what I had prayed for). When you mentioned that you know the Lord wanted you to say this message to someone I knew it was meant for me.. I knew I wanted to live with his grace, but was worried about sin and temptation from my addictions (which I surrendered to him).. And when I woke up today I see this video!posted today after my amazing experience! God is so great, he has shown me and will continue to show me! All the glory to the most worthy, the most high! Pastor David, Yes repentance is a must to get to the place where we shun sin like Job did. You are telling them what to do to be free from sin; however the only thing that began to get me out of my many years of sin was "knowing" what godly sorrow really is. For all of those years in my besetting sin I was very sorrowful, but only because I did not want to go to hell (worldly sorrow). It is because of my desire to repent (because of godly sorrow) and making these efforts that I was surfing youtube on how to overcome temptations & sin. I have also noticed that I am becoming much more transparent with God. To God, I am grateful! Many good and helpful points. Thank you!
