@@TheSportsZection from being at the stadium it was clear to see Fofana has a shaky first touch when bringing the ball down, twice it put us under pressure. Tosin is currently ahead of him imo. Also ending the game with 4 outfield players who are 6”4/6”5 got us the goal and will get us goals. Veiga has that assertive aggression our defenders are yet to show this pre season. Sanchez has excellent handling, footwork and reaction saves. Lavia is the transitional kingpin for us. Enzo pops tbe ball around effectively well. Ugochukwu has 6 and 8 qualities with such progressive dribbling. Guiu would be wasted on loan. Nkunku has game changing moments. The team do not trust Mudryk, he was effective when he received the ball. Second half he was on my side, 2 successful cut backs to which Nkunku should score and a dribble to which he slipped. About 9 other times Enzo and Veiga chose to ignore and play infield. It’s not about whether Mud will improve or not but if the team doesn’t trust him that’s a worry. This was further proven right as Sterling was introduced and immediately fed the ball, often. Overall we contained a well drilled, tightly knit Italian side who see reigning champions. No clear cut chances, one goal , one top save from Sanchez and one simple catch from a cross that came to nothing. Other than that we encroached in their half, in their box.

i disagree with your submission on fofana leading to the goal we conceded. Levi gave the striker too much allowance as they were both tasked to man mark the inter attacking players. Playing together and communication needs to be improved on between the CD's. Finally, have you observed how our cobham boys are not managing their emotions well on the pitch? i think the need therapy e.g levi and james

We spent the vast majority of last season bobbing between 9th to 11th, and back. The recruitment team appears to overvalue the physicals of players rather than their technical skills or football IQ. Some of our best players make routine mistakes that a youth team would not. So, I'm hopeful for the season because thinking about it analytically is too depressing 😂

@@TheSportsZection Sure could they do better on the goal? sure! But they did better on a lot of other things. I see improvement but if you don’t sure whatever. Colwill and fofana probably played once or twice together in preseason. Let’s see if they can develop some synergy going forward. We analyze these stuff like the manager been here for 5months lol. Fofana and colwill both miss time with injuries last year. It’s so tiring hearing fans complain every single day.
