She had this inside her but didn't realize it until she decided to stand up after the divorce for herself and her son to provide a living. He's so stupid that he didn't look beneath the surface if Ling Ling. She said what he needed to hear so she could get what she wanted. Then he married her and realized she's a controlling, manipulative, petty harpy. He's getting what he deserves.
