Nice video and interesting burr oak acorn dissection! As a child, I tried eating a green, live oak acorn and never got the taste out of my mouth. Don't do it!

Thanks for compliments! Thanks for warning about eating the pre-treated acorn. I'd run across articles about how Native Americans treated them before use or flour grinding.
