In one interview Biden said he had been trying to stay awake. I have had the experience of being so tired and overwhelmed that I almost fell asleep on my feet and definitely lost consciousness for a couple of seconds. Looking back at the interview, I can well believe that that's what happened to him. Dont envy our warm weather here in the western USA. We are suffering a heat wave. 120° in Las Vegas yesterday. Thank you, Ellie. The night before the debate with Trump. President Biden was at a fund raiser abroad. Flew all night at 80 with a cold ,and still debated Trump. I think President Biden did fine. The equipment did seem off. As well as the modiraters were a bit unfair. 🎉

I’m in my 70s and I remember him all too well the rotten king of the filthiest tricks imaginable. so thank you. If they had succeeded in drugging Biden. Hi Ellie, glad to see a posting from you today. As someone else said, ‘a bit of sanity’. Whilst we are moving towards a ‘global citizenship’, the rise of the far right and isolation policies dismay me. Brexit to my mind was a huge mistake on so many levels. Growing up in the seventies, and having lived in the Middle East I concur with your views on the Qu’ran and the small proportion of those who follow ‘jihad’. I always relate it to the nightly news in the seventies when the IRA were bombing etc. It wasn’t all the people of Northern Ireland but a small group whose actions were extreme that made the news. Now that we have a new Labour government, whilst it’ll never be labelled as ‘undoing Brexit’ can you see the UK rejoining the EU in the future? My thoughts are that it’ll be done by treaties and agreements but would be interested in seeing what the UK’s role in Europe would be. Thanks

I can see them going back somewhat to the Trade Agreements that was the reason to join EU in the first place NOT to have them Govern our country

When Donald started down his road...I was as dumbfounded as Biden was. The "non" moderators didn't challenge the situation. I started midway to turn the sound off when Donald spoke. After the debate I made my first ever donation to Biden's campaign. Several people have said the same to me. Weird. That "somehow" this may work vibe you turned up amuses me no end!
