I've been battling with Square Enix for the past week about this stupid ban I received.
Playing the game when a GM kidnaps me into a jail cell.
I'm told my name breaks TOS.
I explain how I made the name two years ago the system detected nothing wrong with using my wife's nickname and mine.
They apologized.
Changed the offense to my Chocobo who had been BokuNoPico for over two years.
I asked why I'm being punished for their profanity filter failing?
They wouldn't answer and instead told me to come up with a name on the spot.
I did.
Immediately asking why they found the name offensive but their own system did not.
No answers from here on out.. actually I never got any answers even through the customer service support ticket system as well.
After the in-game Chocobo name change they give me a weird copy-paste message about TOS Rule #3.3 being broken and that I would receive an email about my ban.
Instantly questioning this message they said to read the email and ended communication.
I was teleported back to my town and ten seconds later logged out for the next four days.
Over the course of the four days suspended from play I sent emails, multiple support tickets, a phone call and a direct message to customer service.. all with nothing other than "file a support ticket".
Inevitably on the day before the ban I get an email asking for what happened and to re-read the email before responding to the email.
I sent in my response and then my second response to that email but still nothing even a couple days after.
I have a feeling I'm going to pop all the Playstation trophies and put an end to my Final Fantasy 14 arc.
