Thank you for a wonderful tour of your beautiful garden. Your borders are to die for. I think you have your very own Chelsea Garden Show right here, in front of your patio. Well done. You must be very proud of what you have achieved. Subbed. Greetings from UK 🇬🇧.

Thank you very much - I also like the border in front of the patio a lot. It has taken some years tweaking it, but it has worked out really well this year. Thank you for subscribing and for watching the videos!

Wonderful garden! I love how wide the borders are and how you’ve repeated plants throughout. Your meadow looks great too! I’m in the UK and have had some success adding wildflowers grown from seed into borders and pots with more traditional garden plants. Birds foot trefoil is a great plant to plant around a large pot as it spills over the side.

Gorgeous garden. I love your Thalictrums. The one towards the end that you weren't sure seems like a Thalictrum Delavayi

The Thalictrums are getting better and better every year, they have taken some years to establish since I purchased most of them as very small plants. I think that you are right, it looks a lot like Thalictrum Delavayi, thank you 😊

Your garden is beautiful, with so many beautiful plants. I think the Thalictrum you rescued is Dalavayi. It's very pretty. If you Chelsea chop your tall plants they will be midgets. It would be a pity to reduce the height of Helenium Moorheim beauty, (one of my favourites) they are meant to be tall. Can't you support them?

I think that you are right about the Thalictrum, it must be Dalavayi. Thank you 😊 I still think that I will chop the aster and the helenium next year - I do have some supports in here and there, but quite often I just don't get the supports in in time. Not doing it in time often ends up with it looking even worse then it did before the staking. I might reduce the chopping height a bit, you are right that it would be a shame if it ended up being too low to have a presence in the boarder.

Your garden is beautiful as ever! My local garden center has only one variety of Thalictrum that I considered buying, but its flower color is white. I like the purple/blue color Thalictrum in your garden. I might go online to see if I can order a Thalictrum other than white. I do have the Shasta daisy "Becky". That's the only white flower in my border. We are finally getting some rain in Kentucky with slightly cooler temperatures. Happy gardening to you in Denmark, James

I really like the Thalictrums here, even though they take some time to become fully grown. Shasta daisy "Becky" is doing great here, I had to remove a couple of plants at the edge of the clumb as they where starting to become a bit much for the neighbouring plants. It is about time that you got some rain in Kentucky. Here the rain has finally stopped for a while, so it would seem that we remain opposites when it comes to the weather. Thank you for your comment!

I love your garden. I would love to just go on a little tour with you and just ask you tons of questions. he he. Thank you for taking us through your garden every month. I really enjoy these tours. Hope you will take us along for some of the projects in your garden as well, but i know that that would be a lot of work and just prolong the actual project. The little peek at your meadow area was great. I want to "rewild" a patch by the side of my house and at the far end of the property as well and already got some native meadow plants. keeping fingers crossed.

Here I was lucky because the poor sandy soil in the meadow area ensures that it does not end up as only grass. Most meadow plants will not compete well with grass in fertile soil here. Here I have seen several butterflies that have never bothered with the Garden before, so it has been very rewarding. It took a couple of years for it to happen though. I hope your meadow and rewilding project becomes a success!
