I went to visit my dad and a doctor came in and said they had been talking over the weekend and my dad has asked for his oxygen to be removed I didn't have time to process what was about to happen it happened there and then I don't think I'll ever get over what happened that day I had to sit and watch the life drain out of him I don't think I'll ever get it out my head

my brother had to do that for our mom she told both of us please do not restate her my mom was on a machine to stay alive my brother had make the final decision to turn off her machine that was hardest decision for Marc to make she passed away July 6th 2005 at 1230 pm Eastern standard time

My mom and sister and I gave them doctor to remove the ventilator from my dad. It will be this Friday

Its a hard choice my md talked to me today about what I want done sense I'm a full code I told what ever it takes he said how about ICU that is ok I already have a feeding tube because I had a few strokes I hhave a hard time swallowing I take a little food oral but not enough to keep me going when he ask how about but nursing home I told him no I want to die at home with my animals by my side. He is giving me 1 year with all my medical conditions if the get worse I took it pretty ok

I respect that decision a lot. Would do the same, be sure to let someone know after you've passed to take good care of your animals. God bless
