Big Swiss is on my TBR. A Tree Grows in Brooklyn is one of my favorites. Lady, you need to read Little Women! This is How You Lose a Time War is good but written in very fluffy prose. So be aware going into it. The Inheritance Games was my favorite read of last month.

I'm actually reading "The Inheritance Games" trilogy right now. I'm about half way through the 3rd book right now. I was pretty hesitant to pick it up too. I've been putting it off for over a year because, like you explained before, booktok has let me down too sometimes. Now, I'm not gonna lie I rated the 1st book 8/10 (4 stars). I thought it was good, but I didn't think it was something that should've been as hyped as it was. I think I went in with the wrong expectations. I thought the series was gonna be more high-stakes thriller-like, but that's not what it is at all; it's more of a lowstake mystery (well, at least that's how the 1st book is). So, if you're going into the 1st book thinking it's gonna be super crazy, don't because once I quenched that mentality away that's when I actually started enjoying the series. I rated the 2nd book 9/10 (4.5 stars). I really enjoyed it and right now I'm loving everything about the 3rd one. Based on the videos I've watched from you it seems like we have very similar taste so I definitely say give "The Inheritance Gmaes" trilogy a try.

I read a few books in the past months and these two were by far my favourite. There's another book, God of small things, but its a really deep, emotionally heavy book. It might have some ideas which go against some people's morals, but you should try this if you want a change from your regular books. But do try the first two. I guarentee you'll love them.❤❤😊
