I went to Menard's several years ago and bought press and stick floor tiles. And tiled underneath my kitchen and bathroom sinks. Then you can wipe up any spills or leaks and protect the wood of the cabinet. Works great. Haven't had to replace any tiles and it's been at least 10 years.
