Two points I made: 1. I think the timeline of the hunting 1st generation by James was only a few weeks after the fight between James and seongji. It's likely that James only train for a short time and was able to recover quickly. Why do I say a few weeks? (Or it could be less than that) Because seongji's hand is still bandaged in this chapter. So there's no way time has passed for months. 2. why does gitae have to seize the position king of Seoul? It's Because the center of the 4 crews business to be created is right in Seoul (big deal = gangseo, gangbuk = God dog, Gangnam = ilhae, gangdong = hostel). So if jichang finds out an illegal business is built in Seoul, he probably Will destroy it. That's why the position of Seoul king should be replaced by gitae. Gitae was supposed to oversee Seoul as king, but he chose to go back to Mexico. (I'm still curious how gitae meet taejin)

My wild theory: After sujin was taken by taejin. Sujin will be tortured by taejin and it's causing her to die. (I'm still a bit confused about sujin's death because taejin said she died because of her own mistake). The point is, it made everyone angry. Then because seongji felt he couldn't protect sujin, seongji lost control and started raging around. This is where seongji died. probably Vin was forced to kill him in order to protect his friends from seongji's rampage. (I think it's a bit strange because vin is much weaker than seongji, was vin helped by other strong people?)
