I think Lions Definitely go Edge in the first round and I hope we get a faster twitchier edge that has speed and some bend. We have Paschal/Levi who can be the run stuffing early down guys, but we really need a guy that is a legit threat to get to the QB. Love Mike Green to the Lions. Houston was great but after his injury he never fully recovered unfortunately.

I disagree on picking tackle in the first round. As a Saints fan, yes the trenches are still not good but when it comes to Trevor Penning, he improved to being low-end starter at best. The interior o-line is the problem in the o-line, Fuaga and Penning are good. The d-line is much worse and in general the Saints defense is horrible because there still isn't a good pass rush, can't stop the run, and allows too much explosive plays. Cam Jordan is clearly done, Chase Young wasn't bad but underwhelming, Granderson is decent but not EDGE #1, Bryan Bresee is good in the pass rush but the opposite on the run stop. The need for EDGE and DT is more important for us so I would pick either Mykel Williams, Nic Scourton or Abdul Carter if he's there.

@levinsiegl4973 when you have a deep class at a certain position, you don’t need to prioritise it in the first 2 rounds, you can find a quality starter later on, unless it’s a huge need, then you get the best prospect available

Teams are starting to value RB more now especially since 2023 but this draft has a lot of depth not top end guys. Teams don’t value RB as much in the first, especially in a draft like this where it’s deeper not top heavy and they feel like they can get their guy in the 4th or 5th and fill in true positions of need first.

So the Tampa Malachai Starks pick was interesting. However, the real problem in Tampa is off the ball linebacker. We literally had no off the ball linebackers for a game this season. Tampa is known to draft a guy the think won't last falling to them in next round. Watch for them to trade down. Or, or... they will take a flyer on Revel, the CB, and cut Dean. But I can see them targeting Campbell and Green in the second and be interested in trading back. They probably will keep Jordan Whitehead another safety they drafted some years ago to pair with Winfield. They have been grooming Merriweather. And Tykee Smith could move into safety, as well. Safety not really a need over Corner, ILB, or Edge

Scourton isn't a bad pick and although i think guys like Carter, Jaylon Walker, Pearce JR, and Williams would fit our scheme better. all of them were gone so Scourton is next best option and a solid player. Where i disagree with you a little though is the CB thought over a much more needed secondary position in SS. Justin Simmons and Richie grant were god awful for us and we could seriously use a upgrade there more than CB. Atleast 4 of our Cb's played better than either of those 2 guys did and it wasn't even close. Most of the Falcons getting beat this year was from Simmons and grant being way out of place which actually hurt the pass rush to not giving them time to get home. Starks would be a phenomenal pick in round 1 as well to pair with Bates if you feel the Edge class is strong enough in round 2 to compare with Scourton.

Browns are done with DW, that was clear. But guys his "set back" puts him on the PUP. Its very clear he was never going to take another snap even before that news. That nugget, plus the GM basically saying the trade was a failure tells you this. They deviated from the Kubiak scheme to help DW and it failed and that was the last option. They told you they're going back to Kubiak scheme and players were openly vocal about it. Now him being on the PUP actually gives the Browns cap relief due to insurance policy. DW still gets his money but it helps the team. He will be on PUP then cut after next season. If the org was smart they would look at the ATL Falcons. Bring in a vet, but also take a qb #2. You can compete now, and have the qb of the future in your program ready to take over. Its highly unlikely they will be in position to take a qb again next year. If so they're all fired. If not, then you have to trade picks to move up, mortgaging your future again. Drafting a qb with a vet its the smartest move, and it also buys you a bit of time. I dont see how adding another other position helps them get wins, when just a year ago just average qb play won them 11 games. Sanders makes so much sense for that Kubiak scheme. The hate for him is getting a little out of control.

26:16 as a Chiefs fan man if there is a legit 1st Round OL, especially a legit LT, there at 31/32 there is no way they pass on that. LT has been one of the major issues all year long and they aren’t going to be able to bring Trey Smith back at RG because he’s going to get more money than Robert Hunt did when he got 20 mil AAV over 5 years and the Chiefs aren’t going to have the Cap Space to match that. Maybe one of Nourzad, Kingsley, or Wanya Morris can step in at RG and play well but that still leaves LT. There are some FA’s out there but if they don’t have the Cap to bring back one of their own they won’t have the Cap to sign a FA worth a damn. DL isn’t as big of an issue with how Chris Jones and George Karlaftis have played this year so if the Board falls in such a way that a legit Day 1 Quality Starter at LT is there at 31/32 then they are absolutely going to go that way…

You'll probably hear this a lot but hawks shouldn't be going Dline or really defense at all in the first IMO. It's either stick and pick oline or trade back and take oline to get picks for next year if we dont get a QB in the 2nd or later this year (Milroe, Dart, Ewers etc) to develop now. Shemar might be a great fit for this team and really bolster the Defense but the Offense is soooooooooo^1000 bad primarily because of the oline that I genuinely believe it to be inexcusable to target anything different. We will not win playoff games with the oline as it is now and we also need a new QB for the future so we NEED to make sure the Oline isnt complete dog water when we get one.
