Thank you for sharing! Good to see you getting more beaver but sad someone checked your trap for you! Good luck with everything my friend!

I've enjoyed your channel for a while. Whenever I hear someone say they're going bear hunting, the 1st thing I ask is are you going to eat the meat. You're a trapper, and I'm more than sure you will utillize every bit of that bear in one way or the other, but do you eat bear or beaver? Not being a wiseguy, I'm just curious. I'm originally from S.E. Louisiana, and there's not much I won't try at least once. As the old sayin' goes "I've been hungry before." Keep doing what you love and enjoy yourself!

Yes we eat the meat of both bear and beaver and also muskrat. Black bear makes awesome sausage and jerkey. Muskrat makes good burger and beaver makes a good casserole. I just can't stand the tail of a beaver tastes like grease flavored bubble gum. Best way I can describe it.

Bear is highly sought after up here in BC Canada. Beaver meat is still in high demand for First Nations, and I agree, the tail was not good, but the Elders love it.

@@outdoorsalaska I saw on a documentary that Alaska Parks had to make a rule forcing him to move his camp every 10 days to keep the bears from getting to comfortable with him
