I love the flexibility homeschooling allows and how each family can follow the schedule that works best for them rather than the traditional school year. Also, good to know that MCT offers all their curriculum as pdfs now.

I love your honesty! It makes me feel good to hear when you didn’t get to stuff since that is typical for us too 😂 plus I tend to just plan way too much stuff and we have to fizzle it all out.

Some years are going to be better than others. In the end it all washes out!

We now have give start and end dates and we are yr round homeschoolers so I just said we end around Easter and we pick back up In the summer and it varies how!!! We love easy peasy math!!! It’s free and online so we use it as a supplement as well!!! I love science chunks!!! My older kids got excited to the fluoride activity with the toothpaste on the egg and the egg without toothpaste on!!!

It is getting more popular for sure. But I think that is for a good reason. It really is a great program!

I was just wondering about the MCT digital books. Are they printable? That price difference is tempting.

Yes they are! I printed them 2 pages to one sheet and front and back and it was just fine. Some of the print is a little small, but not the important stuff!

How did you (and your kiddo) feel about the amount of words with sequential spelling? I'm looking at it for 4th going on 5th grader, but she gets overwhelmed quickly

Sometimes they get a little frustrated if they are not in the mood and it takes us longer. But for the most part it is not that bad. I tend to skip words if I know they know how to spell it and I don't think they need the extra practice. I don't think it hurts to skip a few. Just skip one from each pattern.

Does khan academy save the grades and have a way to document?

Yes ma'am! There is a teacher portal side that you can set up to have reports and records made. All free!

I just bought MUS a few days ago Alpha but now I’m not too sure about it 😂

Give it a shot before you send it back! It doesn't look all that exciting, but my kids LOVED the blocks and therefore doing math.
