Its intresting that i have heard people say things like this to me and others, and it sort of just washes over. One ear and out the others. But...its odd when you hear it from a character like Master Chife. It oddly hold a lot of weight when its coming from a character that one may look up to when they were younger.

Sometimes people don’t hear the message at the right time or from the right place. A lot people were told some basic things back in school, but it wasn’t until they needed to hear it and from a lot of talking heads on the internet that it really resonated. Often it just is what it is of what interests us

I understand you, fam. I had the same thing happen earlier this year, spent 6 years learning and getting very good at my profession, only to lose it in an instant. I went through a lot in my life. A terrible childhood riddled with foster homes, abuse, and pain. My life didn’t get better in my teens and my adult life was filled with depression and terrible decisions. From abusive relationships to substance abuse. The amount of times I tried to game end is staggering, even going so far as to getting addicted to painkillers, alcohol, and caffeine to speed the process. My life didn’t start going anywhere until my late 20s when I finally started taking control of my life. I am happy to say that I am surviving into my 30s, happily married, been clean of painkillers for about 5 years now, and my addiction to alcohol has been kicked and my caffeine addiction is manageable. I started making KZbin content and following my dream of making a web comic at the same time. I needed this because the struggle is still very real. I still deal with those dark thoughts and still struggle to understand what I am supposed to do now that I’ve made the decision to live. It does get better, those thoughts are wrong about life.

You can never guess just by looking at someone to if they have such thoughts. I've had a person close to me give in to those thoughts, and when they did it it ruined my life and mental state for over a decade. Luckily, I had plenty of people to keep me from doing the same thing. Always be there for your friends, I learned that years ago. Be the person that helps them, dont let them suffer in silence. I needed this. The last 10 years of my life have been on and off medical issues, and specifically the last 2 years have been constant hospital stays and surgeries. I had a major operation in August last year that really changed my life, but it didn't fix all of the issues that the doctors thought it would. After more office visits I was told that I would most likely need another major operation within the next few months after more tests. I've gone through so many operations in my life, but each time I feel like I'm being chipped away more and more. I don't know how much more I can take. But I'm so thankful for the friends and family that I have around me, they all truly make me forget about the pain and suffering for at least a little while. The road is hard, but we must keep our heads high because there are brighter days on the horizon.
