Just as Simeon, after encountering Jesus, "took him up in his arms and blessed God" (Luke 2:28 ESV), we seek to lead others in a life of stewardship, relevant engagement, and practical living that honors and blesses the Lord.

Revelation ties the entire Bible together...Revelation is not written in code, its not a puzzle, its actually very straight forward but at the same time God meant for it to be a little unclear and for His purpose... the Revelation of Jesus Christ as the risen King of Kings and ultimately the Judge of man kind ... its an amazing book, by far the most fascinating. Isaiah 38-39 and Daniel 9 will help with understanding it a lot too

Ive been saying that prophecy is literally the wisdom of the law. Looking at the torah, every law normally follows blessings for obedience and cursing for disobedience. The grace that we live with seems to follow something akin to this in a slightly different way.

Isaiah 7:14-16 NASB1995 [14] Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, a virgin will be with child and bear a son, and she will call His name Immanuel. [15] He will eat curds and honey at the time He knows enough to refuse evil and choose good. [16] For before the boy will know enough to refuse evil and choose good, the land whose two kings you dread will be forsaken. Matthew 1:22-23 NASB1995 [22] Now all this took place to fulfill what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet: [23] “Behold, the virgin shall be with child and shall bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which translated means, “God with us.” This is just one example of a dual fulfillment of prophecy. I encourage you to read that Isaiah passage in context. The Old testament is full of dual fulfillment of scripture; I only say this to encourage you. The word of God is living and active!

I see Nero both historically in Revelation (one of the five kings who had fallen) and also as the future beast (an eighth king). But I believe we should approach the book from the perspective of a first century reader. It is not a "living document" in the way that some people erroneously think of the US Constitution.

It's unknown if all of the Twelve Disciples were married. We only know for sure that Peter was married. Paul was not married and it's thought that Timothy was also unmarried. Being single was probably more common than we think. The New Testament talks quite a bit about being single, and about being married.

Dispensationalism is the absolute worst thing to ever happen to the Christian faith

Even though it's in your Bible? 1 Corinthians 9 16 For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel! 17 For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, *a dispensation of the gospel* is committed unto me. 18 What is my reward then? Verily that, when I preach the gospel, I may make the gospel of Christ without charge, that I abuse not my power in the gospel. Ephesians 1 9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: 10 That *in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ,* both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: 11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: 12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. Ephesians 3 For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles, 2 If ye have heard of the *dispensation of the grace of God which is given me* to you-ward: 3 How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words, 4 Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) 5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; 6 That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel: 7 Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power. Colossians 1 25 Whereof I am made a minister, *according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you,* to fulfil the word of God; 26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: Hebrews 1 God, who at *sundry (different) times and in divers (diverse) manners* spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, 2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, *rightly dividing the word of truth.* Why would God dealing with people at different times in different ways be such a bad thing? If dispensationalism was wrong and it doesn't exist, then I suppose Paul would have never mentioned it and some parts of the Bible would end up contradicting, such as the idea of needing another temple and restoring the need for animal sacrifice for our atonement. The moment Christ died, we began a new dispensation, the age of Grace and left the age of Law. There's a reason God had the 2nd Temple destroyed. There was no more need for it as He, the Lord Jesus Christ, is now the propitiation for us, not animals. Hebrews 10 4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins. ..... 9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second. 10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. Hebrews 9 22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

This guest is on it. There are dual application prophecies in the Bible. He’s talking about a “historicism” method of looking at Bible prophecies, where prophecy continues to become history. Past, present, or future? All of the above. Other methods include “preterism” (all of this already happened) and “futurism” (none of this has happened yet).

Isreal were strangers in a foreign land and was carried away into exile. Can’t just throw them out. Paul even says so in Romans 11. Yes we are not of this world which does make us strangers living in exile til are appointed time of death. 6:29 Isreal has a big part in prophecy and the end times prophecy. The book of Revelation gives revelation with other scriptures and especially the OT prophets. Can’t have one testimony without the other. Since Paul says we only prophesies in part. Both parts give whole testimony. Which is why Paul says no Jew or Greek no male or female but the testimonies of God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, Spirit. Gird your loins with the belt of truth. Helmet of Salvation, Breastplate of Righteousness, Shield of Faith and feet prepared with the gospel.

I look at it as a cycle. The reason why things appear to have already happened, is because we are stuck in a cycle. In the Torah, the ancient people are stuck in a cycle of creation, destruction, restoration and so on, I may be missing one, however a cycle. The cycle is broken when Yeshua enters the scene and begins to fulfill prophecy. As such, we are also in the same cycle because without Yahweh, without the true Pastor, Yeshua, we are lost in repeating history. The believer, however, breaks the cycle, on a personal level, when they accept Christ's gift of grace and are covered in Yeshua's atoning blood. Revelation is there to warn us, the same way the prophets did, except now it's a direct connection with Yahweh via the paparakletos, or the Holy Spirit.

In 2020 I asked God in absolute faith about Revelation 17:10-11 and was answered. Obama is the 8th He will do Daniel 11:21 and on because it is him. Because of what happened in 2020 saying what would happen to my mum and dad with words that where not my own that they would not last the 1st lockdown and then have it happen because I had things like this happen all my life I was in a place of brokenness and had a contrite heart and asked about Revelation 17:10-11 the Holy Spirit answered and gave the understanding that this was the same as Daniel 11:19-21. Long story short Obama will use what happens to Biden to get back in power. This is not my opinion my thought where not this but I put self to the side and asked in faith like we are told to do and I received to my shock. If you have a waring you must warn. There is no pride in this I don't get pleasure out of this but when you where warned what is coming you must warn. For the full post to be said I need a comment under this YuTB is stopping my post I am on my 3rd chan warning for over two years. Is it truely on a global scale or does revelation happen to an individual who is preceiving a scenario as the entrie world from an individual point of view. @@PastorChris87 No, you're just being excessively pedantic on purpose, by playing around with words and pretending that they don't mean what they mean, in order to defend your erroneous position, because your pride demands it of you. Saying that something is written "to" someone or "for" someone, means the same thing in every context for all writing throughout all time, forever. There's an immediate audience, and a broader audience. Using either the word "to" or "for" just tells you that someone is an audience. Those words do not in any way delineate what type of audience you're referring to. They are completely interchangeable words with regards to either audience.
@PastorChris87
@PastorChris87 2 күн бұрын
@KFish-bw1om I respectfully disagree. When Paul wrote 1 Corinthians he is writing to people who lived in Corinth to address real people who had real problems in that time. We know this because he says "to those in Corinth." He does not say to those in America. It is for you because spiritual truth is true in every generation, but it was not written to you it was written to them.
@KFish-bw1om
@KFish-bw1om Күн бұрын
@@PastorChris87 Right. The first part of your comment is not in disagreement with what I said. You're right about everything except for the fallacious juxtaposition of the words "to" and "for". These words are not in conflict with each other, and it is of no meaningful value to choose one over the other when referring to either audience or the intended purpose of the text for that audience. In other words, no matter which word you use, "to" or "for", to refer to either audience, it doesn't in any way change the meaning or purpose of the text in relation to that audience. You could equally say that it was written "for" the church in Corinth, and your statement would still be true and correct, without at all altering what the text meant to the church in Corinth or what it means to us today. That's why I said that you're just abusing language at this point to create a false dichotomy between the words "to" and "for", in order to use that fallacious juxtaposition you created, to claim that what I said is wrong, so that you can hold a false claim on being right. That's why I pointed out that it is pride that is at the heart of your effort here. There are two distinct audiences of Scripture. The immediate audience and the general audience. We agree completely on that (unless you reinvent your position). The purpose and meaning that Scripture holds for each audience varies, sometimes different, sometimes the same. Using either word, "to" or "for", as a reference pointer for either audience, has no bearing whatsoever on the purpose and meaning of Scripture for that intended audience. It was written "to" and "for" both audiences, for different purposes, at different times, and with different meanings. You can dig your heels in and lean on your pride all you want, but you can't overcome truth.

......//.. Daniel's 5 vision experiences about the "time at the end" make Revelations make sense. We are witnessing the rise of the "vile person" (aka the "little horn" and the final "king of the north") to power. He rises to power, per Daniel's final vision, following a leader who loses power prematurely and is known as a "raiser of taxes". The vile person comes to power during the 3rd of the 6 wars detailed in this final vision. The 3rd war is occurring now. Once in power, the vile person (king of the north) will begin the negotiations of a peace treaty to end this war The vile person rises to power in a nation which is the lone superpower on earth at the “time at the end”. It is described as a "divided nation as iron does not mix with clay" at a time when "truth is thrown to the ground". In his rise to power he will "pull up by their roots" 3 of the 10 super-elites who have gained both political and financial control of this nation (the USA). But once in power, he will do “whatever he wants”, but "he will not be given the honor of the kingdom". All this and much much more is found in the 5 visions in Daniel about the "time at the end" or "latter days". It is all unfolding right before our eyes. The Bible scholars and religious leaders of this time will not understand the visions. Therefore, God has made certain that "men of understanding" will be present "who will teach many". Some will "shine as stars".

@@luvmenow33 Whomever is the nest US President. The next events are the fall of 3 super elites "pull up by their roots" by the "little horn". Daniel's 5 vision experiences have given us the political blueprint of this time and the next 4 years leading to the last 3.5 years of the tribulation.

I think God knowing the end from the beginning, and knowing we have an enemy who wants to deceive and destroy us is giving us a hint on what's coming. To prepare us. Just like weather forecasters' informing people of an incoming destructive hurricane. The problem is, the prophets foresee the events, but not how long the intervals.

The letters have numerical value. “Nero Caesar” in Greek totals up to 666. The textual variant of a different language having the number 616 instead of 666 also aligns up with Nero Caesar in that language.
