All of these lines definitely have a lot of idyllic appearl and wonderful ambiance that is very much vintage and "retro". At least on the "Jungle Express" the trains will keep running on weekends and public holidays for the many hikers and nature lovers. Nice film!

another tragedy, Steiermärkische Landesbahnen., I'm sure I've been on this train in the late 50's but it wasn't electrified, more likely steam

Hi, Yes indeed... The line was electrified from 1931 and this is one of the original electric units, so it could not have been it. After the war, electric operation resumed in 1948.

@@ronik24 Looks like I didn't travel on this train., I used to travel from Graz to Feldbach and I thought I went to Bad Gleichenberg, may be it was a different trip by car in the 1980's

@@6109river Yes, Graz - Feldbach still is a diesel line, see the two trains from 4:17
