Endangered Review - Tons Of Variability, A Bit Random

We play a lot of cooperative games in our house, and this one probably has gotten the most play over the past year. We love the theme, and are always intensely worried for the species in play. Our games are generally tight, with the outcome being decided in the second voting year. We are usually able to reflect back on a failed game to see just where we made an error that put us off course, and always feel exclaim “yes!” and exchange high-fives when we succeed. The variety of species the designers have covered is amazing, including the newly released monarch butterflies, which my family played tonight. Love this game and and can’t recommend it enough.

I have played both solo and 2 player. I love this game, but personally I love it solo. Such a great game and all of the species give you different feels. Some are MUCH harder than others as well.

At this point in it's life I have had really, really positive experiences. When we did lose, it was because we had made poor choices with our dwindling population. Ultimately it was the card draw that defeated us but our choices leading up to that point put us in the position. Hopefully, it will continue to be a winner but I can completely see your concerns. Just got the butterfly expansion and excited to give it a try.
