Why option 3x is more preferred than 3 & 3a ?

Generally operators prefer option-3 as you can see operator just has to introduce gNB and setup X2 connection & everything will start working. For other options (3a &3x), operators has to make S1-U between gNB & 4GC which needs additional deployment of routers and switches in network.

Is ENDC and NSA mode same ?

So there are two Modes NSA (Non standalone) and SA(Standalone). NSA is where we have LTE and 5G in combinations. where ENDC is one of the combination. These combinations are defined under different options implementation of 5G.
