Upgraded from my Ender 3 Pro to an A1 a couple months ago, and I couldn't be happier with it's performance. I can actually print now without constantly struggling with issues like I used to. I'm also glad I didn't go with a new Creality like this one, from everything I've experienced and seen in other reviews their level of polish just isn't to the same standard as Bambu Lab. Doesn't matter if a printer is better spec-wise, if the software isn't easy or reliable it makes the whole experience worse.

The thing I found with creality is that the quality control can be a bit hit and miss

A Great side by side review! I look forward to a follow up update as from what Im told by friends who have them: the real value is that over time the Bambu machine stays tuned- whereas the number of friends who complain that they need to tweak their Ender are, well endless (not as bad as Ender 2 though lol). Im still rocking my old Mk3 Prusa and though it was costly at the time it was a real winner in the set it up and then never really have to tune it for months category... and so that has me looking at the Bambu if I ever need a replacement.

Ive had Creality printers for almost a decade now. They always worked great even with the high amount of tinkering needed in the past. Upgraded to an Ender 3 v3 and I have had nothing but problems with it. The quality control was horrendous. After troubleshooting for days I finally gave up and returned it. Getting the A1 to see how it does.

@@greedy3d480 I have now swapped my 2 K1 Max printers for BAMBU printers as well and couldn’t be happier. I still have an Ender 3 v3 plus just for its volume and it’s constantly needing tweaking and I’ve had to replace various parts for quality issues. If BAMBU had a larger printer I would swap to that one too.

Thx for the vid. Would be great to see a vid testing ABS in each and testing the limits of an open frame printer.

My kid wanted a ender v3 for xmas but i asked around and wound up getting him the A1. I think this will be the better call after watching several reviews

I think that's a good call 👍

yes the a1 is much better as the ender v3 is really good too , its a tinkering machine so it always breaks and needs a lot of maintenance unlike the Bambu labs a1 it just works , ye sometimes it need maintenance and wrk done to it but changing nozzles or hotends is as easy as just unclipping a latch and pulling it out and replacing it , online the ender were you have to heat up the nozzle risking getting burnt , unscrewing it risky it to drop , and messing with all that , the baambu labs a1 is much better engineered and much more reliable , coming from an ender 3 user that just is now upgrading to a Bambu a1

I couldn't imagine spending that much money on a Creality sober! I've had a few, all were junk out of the box. After a year of upgrades it almost performs as it was supposed to out of the box. Then the next year you're chasing problems because it's junk.

I would say I agree about size and ams but I picked up the ender 3 V3 for £278 delivered which I could not fault. The ender 3 V3 plus is also a very respectable size in comparison. 👍🏻

Now don't get me wrong I've got an Ender 3 and I really really think it's a good machine just compared to the a1 i think it comes second
@1leo20084 ай бұрын
@@greedy3d480but for the price range you need to compare it to the plus which means there are more pros.

I just bought my first printer. I wanted an A1 but had to settle for a Ender 3 V 3 because of the fact that I live in Chile and the only place I could get a A1 had a 2 month waiting list and was selling them for double the listed price in the US.

How you getting on with the v3
@MadRelique4 ай бұрын
It's going to arrive sometime before the end of the week, so hopefully I'll be able to start printing minis soon. However, I do hope that they do come up with a multi filament solution (that was the main feature I liked about the A1, but, alas, it wasn't worth paying the equivalent of $300 extra for it locally). :D

I really want an A1 but it's expensive in my region. The Ender 3 V3 is 30% cheaper than the A1 so I'm considering it.

How are the fumes with these printers? If one does not have a spare room but wants to dip their toes in 3d printing, the only place will be our bedroom beside my work desk. Thanks for anyone who will answer. 😊

Although there are fumes pla is not near as bad as resin.. I used to print in a spare room for ages...it's not bad at all

@@greedy3d480 so is it OK to be printing in our bedroom though? And next to my work desk..only about 2ft from it..also beside a window. I've heard people saying things about the air temp and humidity affecting the print quality if printer is beside a slightly open window.

Bambu: you buy it, press the button and you are perfectly satisfied. Ender: you buy it, you look at the settings forever, and in the end your printout is under of quality.

I've been using ender for almost half a year, and you know what? I just took it out of the box, assembled it and printed without any problems. Constant settings of the printer itself are a thing of the past. I just come home, turn on the printer, send the file to print and it prints, that's it. The only thing you need to configure is the characteristics of the plastic, such as flow or PA. I understand why people are so skeptical about this printer, because all its predecessors from the ender3 line were really not very successful (2 days to configure, 2 hours to print, and so on). I printed PlA, PETG, TPU at a speed of 120 without any problems, I also printed PA6-CF without any problems or printer improvements! For bambulab A1, to print PA6-CF, you need to buy a new hot end. Ender3 is cheap, worth every penny. And by the way, there are many bloggers who praised it and continue to praise it.
