Indeed. The Prologue & Intro to the game (I consider it until after the eplosion at the alchemists) was pretty long in comparison with Skyrim, but pretty equally long as e.g. in Oblivion. While I don't like long intros, the Enderal team made a very good point in making it super interesting, highlighting lots of their changes from Skyrim. If it were a standalone game I think I would consider the start a bit annoying, but like this it's just brilliant. Also, the game has a slow pace, which I like. But this is about the soundtrack, which is one of the best I've ever heard and better than many a commercial product's OST. Great Job team of Enderal

Hard to believe such a game was made by a simple Modding Team, they took something (in my opinion fairly good) Skyrim. And turned it into the darkest, most indepth masterpiece you seen before you, Enderal... So dark, so deep, so meaty... So crisp!

Never really had a sense of peace. It always felt wrong, to me, in large part because this song was playing over it. And then you find the book praising cannibalism as the greatest method of passing on strength, and then you find the shrine to the Creator with its note...

Just finished playing for my first time. It was the greatest and the most touching experience i’ve ever discovered. I feel absolutely satisfied and surprised what a masterpiece this game really is. I always keep coming back to this one. You made something downright magical here. Basically nothing but an a minor broken chord, but it is the most haunting track in the entire game. One of the most haunting in all of game music if you ask me. Proof positive that you don't need to be the next J. S. Bach to compose beautiful music.

The third nightmare left me so chilled and somewhat depressed. I'm surprised the character woke up screaming rather than in tears. SureAI did such a good job with the story. I've just gotten past Forgotten Homeland and feared for Jespar's life. Bioware quality characters, them.

I can't believe how quickly a tune went from whimsical and nice to horrifyingly dark without changing anything about the pace or the music itself. When this quest started out, I hardly noticed this track playing and everything felt nice and comfortable but as soon as I entered the house and heard that creepy children's laugh in the background, the music (which was always there) suddenly struck me as incredibly creepy. Man, I was not prepared for that intro -_-"

Ah yes, the nuance of the intro... It's subtly hinted that things aren't right in many different ways before it goes wrong -The burned cottage to your right -The letter at the shrine off the path -The literal crucified and burning corpses of 2 adults and a child -...The creepy teddy bear next to said corpses

The main reason why I remember this is because during the Dad scenes, one of my mods bugged, meaning I could go into 3rd person, and it was basically revealed I played the scene as a 7ft tall big, muscle-bound ripped buff dude with oiled abs It certainly took some of the tension out, lol

As soon as the music started playing from the start I knew something was horribly wrong and messed up about the game and it's world vyn. Honestly one of the most eerie experiences I had, I just stood at the location where you first spawn into the dream sequence for 5 minutes like "what the fuck is going on there is a terrible underlining feeling here". Almost finished my third play through (first with forgotten stories) and god am i hooked again, the pure depth they go through with the story of this game is astounding, and every time i've heard this theme i've felt this sense of eerie sadness, loneliness and helplessness. Liberty Prime well when it comes to Bethesda games modders put more love and time in then the actual devs the modding community is a driving force behind Bethesda games I mean playing ONLY a vanilla Bethesda game and that's it horrible also much fewer people would play older Bethesda games if not for the modding community fallout 3 is a crashing machine without the proper mods also some new people do not like old graphics and so that's where the retexture mods come in wich could bring in new buyers for older games(fuck you special edition , modded oldrim looks better that than this special edition piece of crap) and we all know bethesda games do not age very well they get buggyer and more crashy every new update to windows also the script extender that is awesome

The game itself is such a loot fest. 1000 of items , which i never used. Glitchy and buggy all the time. But this....this story, this music! Its another dimension.
