Tommy: protagonist/main character wilbur: secondary protagonist/mentor/antihero schlatt: antagonist techno: antihero tubbo: main character's motivation dream: force of chaos everyone else is antagonistic or protagonistic side characters (you can argue that the protagonist is whoever's pov you watch but let's be honest here, in the overall perspective of who drives the plot, this is how it is) future me edit: this is was from the perspective of the pogtopia arc, it's pretty much completely inaccurate in regards to the current story so keep that in mind

@@ExclusiveExcellence nah cause techno has sides and fights on whichever side he is. on tommy and wilbur's team his motive is to help his friends and take down the government but he does so in his own way, with no regard of whether its moral or not (antihero archetype) an antihero is also usually selfish so even if he is the traitor he'd still be an antihero(but a troubled, misguided one) and he'd still have a side meanwhile dream has no sides, no loyalty and no reason to fight. he (by his own admission) plays whichever side will cause the most destruction and conflict and whatever will benefit him the most at any given time. therefore he is a force of chaos bc his primary role is to essentially add fuel to the fire bc its fun for him

@@Snikerpiker1 i disagree. he's not a protagonist but he can't be reduced to just a side character bc he adds a lot to the plot. he's the protagonists' secret weapon in fights, he fuels inner conflict in tommy and enables wilbur (a side character wouldn't have that great of an impact on the protagonists), he shot tubbo and commited mass genocide on manberg and created a whole ass disaster scenario and if it turns out that he's the traitor (which he probably is) then that makes his character even that much more important to the story. he has way too much relevance in the plot to be considered a side character bc side characters dont usually add much to the narrative and the same story could be told without them, but this story would be vastly different without technoblade

Now we just need him to deliver his “lines” better. Schlatt is a natural born actor, Wilbur sells his bits, tubbo and tommy react so naturally, and techno delivers his lines convincingly in his voice. Only dream lacks the impact in his delivery

15:48 Hbomb silently admiring Dream's design is literally me. Literally the dream fanarts and mainly SAD-IST! The way they draw Dream is so cool and here in the animation, it's the fit with the MASK. The mask he has is so mysterious and with that smile on it, you never know what the hell he's thinking. It fits Dream as a character too because within the SMP, he is a wild card. He plays by his own rules and doesn't take any sides unless asked to.

Everyone's been given a role, it's beautiful. Tommy believes he's fighting for justice, making him the protagonist. Jschlatt is power hungry, and immoral making him an antagonist. Dream and Technoblade are wildcards, and they'll smack any PvP opposition down. The only people they can't kill easily, eachother. Tubbo, the best friend of Tommy he'll stop at nothing to protect Wilbur is a sort of mentor, but he prioritizes his own goals over teaching tommy things. Everybody else falls in line
