I'll bet white sent all of their stacks into the bot that same turn that they sent into Pete's cap. They were essentially giving up.

2:50 - C’mon, Pete! Always consolidate if you can! Would have moved one over so a 3 stack could watch people attack past the rock of Gibraltar… Two 2 stacks are next to worthless, but a 3… And occasionally reinforced to keep alive the 2nd position

LOL!!! Sorry about that. I just woke up, looked at my phone, and saw that my screen was on (must've fallen asleep watching Kylted videos 😅) and I'd apparently just written something. 2 players against a strong bot is bit like the prisoners dilemma, where attacking it is not in either of your immediate interest but if neither attack it both players are worse off than if both did. Notably however the interaction is repeated and on a spectrum.

First: I watch you obliterate more than 1/2 of blue's territory. Second: I hear you say "I think blue will send his troops into white. Third: I see exactly what I was expecting.

My favourite part of this game was blue intentionally setting and then quitting to ensure his bot gets second.

@@FreePete Sometimes I wish players would collectively just punish quitters. Just set back trying to win long enough to make quitters get last place. It will never happen though. The numbers of times I have personally wanted to take out the leaver who is botting for higher placement, but I couldn't because I would take last place is very high. I've had limited success in doing this in 1v1s though. Generally, I have to be winning though. The biggest flaw with this game is not being able to talk. Then they try to sell you a semi fix with purchasable emotes. Such garbage. If we could talk, not only could I communicate to new players that they need to turn off animations, but I could let the 1v1 know (hey, let's give the leaver third). Truly this game needs chat communication. It's basically garbage since chat doesn't exist. Every problem this game has, being able to talk is a massive fix. Sorry for the length.

If you had hit white's 6 cap early in the game that would of been such a game changer i think. Could you explain why you decided not to take a easy cap? To many troops lost, bad cap?

It gets him into a war against white that they probably both lose because blue was pretty strong. Of course he ended up in a war against blue anyways but c'est la vie.

White ends up breaking all of Pete right after sparing this capital. Was such an odd move but I guess white saw how big Pete was getting and felt he had to address, same with blue, so Pete gets teamed on and has to turtle

When I was new I would cap in corners. My thought process was I was going to hide my capital from the other players for as long as possible.

If you could choose, would you like to go first, second, third, fourth, firth, or last? IMHO, I think going third really sucks as you don't get any bonus.
