i dont think traveler is strong in the very first place. remember we needed the strength of 100 vision to beat raiden shogun and need wisdom of sumeru people to beat scaramouche and even in the all devouring narwhal neuvillette helped us fighting us according to lore. venti helped us during dvalin fight in osail fight literally many adeptus fought and we fought his wife we got knocked.but remember nahida is not strong in physical combat but she can delete anyone from the teyvat. she is strong in her very own way.traveler's will can revival whole teyvat and celestia. so i think traveler themselves are weak but they become stronger with people's faith or confidence in them i guess? this mean when we fought that unknown god we are not totally strong in first place. and again archons except for ei but yae miko helped us.we still dont know how strong the present pyro archon is we do know that her people are stronger than average humans and maybe some vision holders too. The gnosis were created by a descender with similar abilities to the traveler, and you see how strong the gnosis are at buffing elemental capacities. The traveler is very strong if they actually decided to put their elemental powers and combat knowledge to use. They still wouldn't have beaten the Knave, but they would've put up a better fight.

I'll admit, low-key disappointed that the Traveler didn't win. However from a story stand point it makes sense. Out of all the Harbingers the Traveler has fought, The Knave is the strongest so far. Being the 4th Harbinger, The Knave is said to be one step below rivaling the Gods in terms of power and strength---with the 1st 3 Harbingers said to contain power and strength to rival if not surpass the Gods. Basically, the Traveler is due for a serious power upgrade if they wanna defeat any of the upper ranked Harbingers

We've only ever fully beaten two harbingers in 1 on 1 combat. Signora(No. 8) and Childe( no. 11) scaramouche we had massive help from Nahida and ranks 1-3 are said to rival Gods. Arrlechino is clearly very close. Even though we have 5 elements under our belt which means we have roughly 70% of our original power back if we gain equal parts back with every element we gain. Which I doubt but even then its something to consider Now look at the context of the duel. We aren't fighting to kill, just trying to win. We aren't going yo be going all out. Travele was able to break out of the restraints while others can't and whenever traveler came in to fight she knocks Lyney team to the side to focus on us. We ARE a threat, it's just we don't have our full power and before we can go toe to toe with the other fatui we need our full strength.

This just shows traveler is still very weak. In Mondstadt, we had Jean, Diluc and Venti (THE LITERAL ANEMO ARCHON) with us to fight dvalin. On Liyue, traveler was with multiple adeptis and other milleliths fighting Osial. Though fought childe alone, they weren’t able to defeat him, it was just the foul legacy that wore out Childe. In Inazuma, WE HAD YAE MIKO’S assistance fighting the raiden shogun. Funny thing is the traveler did faint the first time she came face to face with the puppet when she saved thoma. While in Sumeru, beating Scaramouche up ACTUALLY NAHIDA HELPED US. THE LITERAL DENDRO ARCHON TOO. As for fontaine (haven’t finished the quest yet) BUT THESE ALONE SERVES AS PROOF WE CAN’T FIGHT BY OURSELVES STILL.

@@Eb-sq3jd maybe not direcrly like shonen but more like , maybe they are some theory that traveveler have light element , hence why she can wield all element because light is essentialy all colors. And dainseil having really a dark element hence its weird power maybe that is why Khaenri'ah! was eliminated .Anyway traveler will still be weak but maybe because she has light element she can somehow bridge the gap using that element..

but also being completly humilated after beating her in game easily, and also the traveler not using any elements in the cutscenes just makes it obvious hoyo just beat the traveler to make her look cool and didn't even try and make it convincing. keep in mind we can use mutiple elements in the cutscenes.

Ok forget about things like loosing or winning because Hoyo could have just make it a draw. Seriously traveller has 5 F*CKING ELEMENTS THAT CAN REACT TO EACH OTHER!!!!! Traveller used two elements on Childe so why not in this story. Literally can trigger hyperbloom, swirl etc. Sometimes the story is good but at one point you realise that the other character had THAT. People are so fixated on loosing and winning that they could have atleast make it a draw.

No, only thing was stated that harbingers beat him to point he was about to die and was saved by a guy who was following him from sidelines of a certain secret organisation There was no mention of him being challenging to any harbringer

When we were in Sumeru, we were able to go toe-to-toe with a literal giant mech that was powered by a Gnosis (granted we had to fight multiple times but we still managed to pull through). And now, we got folded like a freaking omelette by Arlechinno. I know the hype is needed because she is new and they want to demonstrate the power of Fatui, but damn it is like we lost all of our brain cells during that flood and now we just Oonga Boonga with a damn sword?

We never went toe toe, we had Nahida helping us and it's the only reason that we even won. Here we fought someone clearly stronger than Scaramouche, she is the 4th harbinger.

I mean in Sumeru, we canonically lost to Scaramouche 168 times before we finally beat him the 169th time. Meanwhile, Arlecchino is ranked higher than Scaramouche, so naturally it makes sense that we'd fail to beat her, especially since we only had the help of three Vision-wielders instead of a whole Archon like with Scaramouche. It makes perfect sense that we'd lose to someone like her.

It really is disappointing that the mc always loses against the other characters even though a lot of the characters saying how strong they are :P just give traveler a win for once against a named character or maybe a draw.
