You're right .... The show is all over the place .... disjointed. The meaning and moral of the story was not portrayed accurately. And a lot of viewers got all the wrong impression of the show. On top of that the people who uploaded the series also did not understand the meaning of the series. I am not judging anyone or anything. It's just these clips and comments made me try to put the series in its right perspective. Wuting and even lihai was portayed as stupid and irresponsible and bad. While actually. Wuting had even helped xiaofei in her work as brand manager/director in ma lin's company for the advertising of Chenghai's new project because Wuting was approached by xiaofei to help her get over lihai. Wuting took the gamble and that also helped her to get lihai back for family sake .... The meaning and moral of the story is deeper than just a man's infidelity. It's also about a woman, Wuting finding herself instead of living in the shadow of her husband and found that she'd skills in advertising as well as in business too. And for the husband he came to know about his own strengths and weaknesses and not to shirk his duty as a husband, father and son-in-law, and responsibilities and also to know where his priorities lie. Xiaofei also learnt her lesson, although I don't condone what she did. It's not only lihai's fault but xiaofei had to take some of the faults too. She went into the relationship knowingly about lihai's married man and she went against all her friends' and colleagues' advices as well as her own conscience ... in fact she'd to take not some but most of the faults. She's not eighteen years old like Yingzi but twenty-eight years old .... Anyway it takes two to tango ....

In fact she's the one who actually helped the mistress in her (the mistress) job to advertise her husband's joint venture with Zhou xing's firm (as this firm was going bankrupt too because of the division of the company and assets of Zhou xing to settle Zhou's divorce from his ex wife lui ying (Wuting's best friend). Wuting's move to get back with lihai was because she still loved him and him her as well as to keep the family together because of Yingzi, the daughter, Wuting's parents and the promise Wuting made to lihai's late father. It's also to keep the company, Chenghai alive. The company that xiaofei the mistress wanted to bring down at the beginning of the episode before she became obsessed with lihai. Lihai learned a great lesson from what happened and now be able to realise where his love, priorities and responsibilities lies. Obligations to xiaofei couldn't be compared to priorities and responsibilities to the family.

Lihai wasn't a bad person but separation from the family as well as loneliness could drive a man of any person be it man or woman to do stupid things. I am not saying I support the husband or saying the he had the right to have affairs .... there are a lot of temptations in this world in the forms of young girls, woman, men or boys. It's the test of a man's character and strength. I can't tell you whether this is the end or not as I only watched clips of the series only.

I expected that it should be the husband to definitely put an end to his madness, infidelity, & immoral acts, not just the mistress. The wife should be strong to deny any contact between the husband & the mistress however it might be beneficial to their company. I believe that the wife should be innovative of her appearance like wearing trending clothes, should visit hair & beauty salon at least once a month. It would be good too for her to enrol in some body toning or slimming fitness to improve her physical appearance.She could go back to her job as a reporter or journalist doing light work schedule in order to balance her roles as mother, wife, & a best friend to herself. She should love herself more before loving others . She should be smart to live her life with happiness that comes from within herself, not dependent on others most especially on her weakling hus. She can forgive her husband but never forget his mistakes. For loving someone unconditionally doesn't mean tolerating his intentional mistakes. Being fooled once is ignorance, but being fooled twice is stupidity. Women should be brave & smart in defending their rights, in pritecting themselves for being treated like a fool by men.
