As for the EV6 door handle freezing, mine sat outside in the snowstorm in Niagara Falls, ON over December 23-24th. The door handle and side mirrors were frozen pretty well. When I walked up to the car, the side mirrors could not open all the way because of ice buildup. The driver door handle and the door itself was frozen so I had to give a good push to break the ice and get in. It took me extra ten seconds to get in, but it was doable. Luckily the side mirror motor didn't break with it not able to open fully upon approach.

Rogerthat! Thanks for sharing, our storm was bad, but your's was way worse. I read an article from Ontario about Tesla owners not being able to get into the vehicle at all. I'm glad your EV6 performed well.

When inventory lands, they will provide them. My guess is that the leasing residual will be very strong, and rates will be similar to EV6 so we can certainly guess where we expect rates to be.

I love the look and feel of the new Kia's. Would love to buy one however has Kia made any improvements in reliability? Has Kia even addressed any of their problems?

Kia continues to win the JD Powers quality award, over all other brands. As widely reported, some of the engines had an internal defect, which Kia extended the warranty on - and phased those engines out. So "yes" Kia addressed the problems and made improvements. thanks for your question.

@@BrantfordKia The JD Power is for the 1st three years which speaks nothing to reliability. And Kia only "phased" those horrible engines out after losing a class action lawsuit and denying/putting the blame on customers for years on end. Still many reports of blown engines and burning oil for many recent Kia's across the lineup. Again I like the look and drive of Kia I'm rooting for them to succeed. Too early to know if they've changed anything.

We've had some issues with Bosch. The Chargepoint charger can be monitored remotely with an app, and could handle 30 to 50 amp. We bought two and so far have been pleased.
