Endless Engines - The Haunted Train (with loops and context)

A better look at my endless engines render based on the Haunted Train episode of Hey Arnold. That episode had a huge impact on my childhood fears, and eventually my creative inspirations. Definitely could've used more time, but I started late due to thinking I wouldn't have enough time (self fulfilling prophesy). Big thanks to UnhelpfulGit for inspiring me to just go for it.

This is one of my favorite episodes of every show I've watched that covered both ghosts and trains at the same time. Amazing modeling on the remake scene, I dare say it looks better than the original scene!

It's from the demo version of the song, which was included on the Vinyl soundtrack release a while back. And then it transitions into the normal version when the bass comes in. In both I filtered out the vocals.

This is incredible, great modeling work with the locomotive there, never thought someone would remake this scene. How long did it take you to create the assets, such as the locomotive and rolling stock trailing behind it?

Thank you so much! The locomotive and coaches were already in progress for a different project, and I basically rushed decent versions of them to be ready for this. I want to say the locomotive took maybe a week or 2, maybe 4 days for the coach. But I worked really slow at it. The track was an existing asset by a user called Zanthera. I locked down the train animation itself in 1 day I think? And I threw together the station and signal tower in about a day each, very Ian Hubert style. Foreground trees are assets, background trees are hilariously bad cutouts with a forest texture projected on, that was maybe another day. So all total probably 3 weeks of work, plus a few days tweaking the lighting and rendering.
