He said in the stream that he had been thinking about making a video on endless legends for a long time but just hadn't felt like he wanted to do it. Still chose custom broken lords, though (He knew they were broken, maybe from a 10 min internet search before the game).

You want broken, you should play a custom faction fashioned out of the cultist, get the less material cost for expansion trait alongside the vaulter's endless recycling. at age 3, your science will skyrocket that you will get end game tech 3 hours earlier than everyone.

Broken Lords aren´t busted, it´s just that custom Factions are inherently broken in almost any Strategy Game. From my experience playing Endless Legend online with standard factions the Morgawr are the most broken faction, there is little to no counterplay against their mind control and naval superiority.

*People* are going on about how Spiff will break the game since he's using the faction he exploited in his recent video. *But* here's the thing: In that video he used a CUSTOMISED version of the Broken Lords which had specifically chosen perks. *Whereas* here he's using the vanilla version of them which cannot be exploited like in that video. *Chances* are that this series was done BEFORE he did that video as he mentions having never played this game before.

yay looking forward to seeing them play this great game. oh sweet jesus spiff is playing broken lords, i wonder if they made him promise no exploits? side note my personal best with broken lords is 40k a turn by turn 100, not as good as spiffs but i feel its respectable. Side side note: considering how delayed these videos can be there is a very good chance this is Spiff's first time playing this game. He played this game, realized how abusable the broken lords can be, messed around with them and recorder and got his video to you tube before the civ channel got theirs to you tube.

I like it with the fast timer, it creates a chaos that forces you into a prioritization mindset and makes the game come closer to resembling an RTS. I can see how it would be more stressful playing it though
