Thank you so much for taking the time to watch and be here - regarding other techniques - I have tried several techniques using nail foils as seen in previous videos - I thought of some more techniques which I will be exploring very soon and will bring another video with these. There are multiple ways to do this - and painting the cabochon with your UV resin or Gel clear will most certainly give a neater result and less overspill.

@claire with the foils to get the detail I do a this layer of uv resin in the bezel under the lamp for about 30 seconds then place the foil over and blast it for 5 mins. You peel it back and the detail stays. Then another layer of uv and the and the cabochon on top. Works a treat.

These are sooo cute! What about popping the foils onto your silicone mat and then adding the uv resin on top? Wouldn’t they lift up the right way around then?? ❤

Try putting the nail gel on the bezel then put the nail foil on that. Cure it that way you have the image the right way up. Then put the glass over it and cure it see if it works that way any better. And let me know please.

after punching the circle from the nail foil couldn't you stick it (right side up) in the bezel and then add the glass? or even UV it to the back of the cabochon? I thought the flowers were so pretty on the right side of the foils. I love creating little scenes in those bezels!

Would putting the tape directly on the painted bezel make it right side up?

You could just paint a thin layer of uv resin or uv nail polish on the back of the nail foils, then after you cure it peel it away from the plastic sheet backing. Then all you’d need to do would be to trim it to fit whatever you want to put it into. You could even used colored resin so you don’t have to paint the bezels.
