I'm a 76 we are 80s babies and 100% Generation X we had the 80s toys The OG strawberry shortcake, cabbage patch, care bears, my little pony... we had the music Madonna Prince Michael Jackson then the 80s hair bands.... we got away with a lot as the "forgotten" and some would say ignored kids as we were really the first generation of true latch key kids. So while I was born in the 70s I would absolutely say I'm an 80s baby since most of our true memories don't start really forming until 3 to 5...

I was born in 1980, and yes I remember the neon everywhere. I had a neon pink jacket. But I have to say, that because I was born in ‘80, I don’t relate too much with that decade. My main memories were more from the ‘90 onward. But definitely remember, as another comment said, the OG strawberry shortcake etc. My music would definitely be ‘90 and up. But in my mid to late teens I was majorly into swing dancing. Basically I love all music except rap and severe heavy metal. 😂

I don’t know, I think the right person could rock a pair of lightning !OG !OG earrings. 🤭 I was born at the end of the sixties, but my favorite music decades are the 80s and 90s. I totally had a “Trapper-Keeper” type of notebook binder with that neon pattern on it. Nostalgia is definitely a kicker, I loved how Madonna used to dress; absolutely loved the movie “Desperately Seeking Susan”.

'55 gal here, L.A. beach gal. The late 60s and 70s were my coming of age years! The Baby and Infant years of Rock n Roll❤, New Mod Clothing, so much was New, Exciting and we embraced it all! I was born in -79, and I was very much into neons as a kid. I had this neon hair spray you could spray patterns on your hair with using a stencil, and I think one was a lightning. And I had a neon yellow skirt with black polka dots. I love the results of these. I do that mistake with texts regularly, even though I know what will happen - so you're not alone on that! 😂
