In a great sea of noise we encounter the deafening sound of silence. As waves crash against the shore, slowly turning cliffside into sand and washing away the last vestiges of our life we stand ...waiting for the moment. It will take just a few steps and we will be gone, forever a part of the waters that feed the world. All is behind us and the future awaits, patiently, to carry us to a new beginning. Across the boundless tides we will travel , hand in hand, until our feet meet the new shores of tomorrow. There we will live out the rest of time, together but alone and without a sound. No words need be spoken, for we are the last of our kind and the first of a new kind and we will be together for all time....in endless silence.
