My son also got me into AFI several years ago. Im now 41 & he is 22. He is now deployed & AFI's music comforts me when I'm missing my son. Thanks for your music.

🖤🖤🖤🖤Walked into our world and made Horrible sounds. I can still hear them today (strangely they seem) Beautiful now, though they outlast my love. Still each time I always meant, Every word, Every one. Though in time they finally bent, Every word, Every one. Every word. "I will wait for you." She said, Endlessly. "I will wait for you." So spoke, Misery. I returned to you but found, My empty home. The radio told me to stay. As it burned down I sang alone. You will outlast my love. Still each time I always meant, Every word, Every one. Though in time they finally bent, Every word, Every one. Every word. "I will wait for you." She said, Endlessly. "I will wait for you." So spoke, Misery. Oh. I have been waiting for you, Biting as you taught me to. I have come to relieve you, Of life and love. I will wait for you. I will wait for you. I will wait for you. I will wait. I will wait. "I will wait for you." She said, Endlessly. "I will wait for you." So spoke, Misery. "I will wait for you" Wait for you, Endlessly. "I will wait for you." So spoke. Misery misery (whisper) I will bite straight through. As I wait for you Dear, Endlessly.

I love every version they do of this song. Live, record, and acoustic. Davey is the most talented front man of a band since Robert Smith. Other bands don't even compare to AFI. They need to step their game up.

Na, hes just singing it an octave lower for the acoustic performance, hes still a tenor, some of those low notes hes singing barely have any resonance
@jackulstrom91505 жыл бұрын
@@jimpwnedyou Eh, he's got plenty of resonance in his low range. His voice is nasal and at this point in his career he was definitely leaning into that nasal sound (which stripped his tone of some resonance), but at 3:33 he hits the lowest note of the song with just as much support and power as the higher notes in this performance.

To all of the people out there that call themselves AFI fans, you need to realize that they are an amazing band and they like to experiment with their sound. So if you don't like their new material, then don't listen to it. I mean how simple is that? I've been listening to them since 2006 [i know not too long] but i've also listen to their older material and the newest. I like it all, but i'm not hard to please. people just need to quit bashing on the new stuff and appreciate this awesome band!
@Weeks3404 жыл бұрын
I saw AFI on warped tour in 2002, in St. Petersburg Florida. Havok didn’t look mortal, a thunderstorm rolled in during the short set but he continued like nothing was happening.
