So you drove it off the lot, around the block and down the road s bit then brought it back to the dealer because your test drive was over. It looks very very nice, we have a 2003 Newmar Dutch Star Diesel pusher w/ 53k miles on it. We drove it off the dealers lot 7 years ago and to our house. Safe travels y'all. Edit: Ok. I went back and watched it the next day and as usual you did an outstanding job on the review and video. Love it !

Really good review, MJ and Izzy! One of the main factors (there were many actually) that attracted us to a Newmar was the Comfort Steer. It makes a huge difference in how the coach drives and reacts to cross winds. We had a terrible experience with a previous diesel Class A that was greatly affected by cross winds. I agree with you, Izzy, about the Mountain Aire, as opposed to the higher level Newmar coaches, it has many great features but is a bit less excessively ornamented, in my opinion, definitely the right mix! It is probably one of the nicest production coaches on the market. Would love to see you guys in one!

@@jimcolts looking back, the only thing I replaced was the Dometic wall panel while I was on vacation. I bought a new one from Amazon and replaced it on the campground. Just bought new Toyo tires after 6 years. The old Michelin were in great shape but RV tires go by age so it’s safer to replace. Nothing else broke or had to be replaced. I do my own regular maintenance like greasing, applying Rejext for UV protection and of course regular oil changes , nothing special. Did some Chassis upgrades but that’s it.

Wow that is absolutely beautiful. Way out of our price range. My mind has been on getting a 5th wheel and replacing my RAM 1500 with a RAM 3500. The more I looked at it, I came to realize that we'd be better off with a Class A or even a Class C with a tow vehicle. The air ride is so much better than a jarring truck ride. Though I've heard that RAM is going towards air suspension. Watching these videos about different Class A is really sealing the deal for me. Thank you for this amazing video.

@gary7moore Жыл бұрын
My wife and I were very close to getting one at NIRVC vegas a few months ago, also considered a Cornerstone & a few others. Of the handful of coaches we drove, this coach drove the best (suspension seemed tuned the best), the cornerstone was a close 2nd plus quieter going down the road (we have an older cornerstone). As we all know, always a trade off with whatever RV we get, always good and bad with every coach. Biggest reason why we didn’t go with the Mountain Aire 4118 is the windows do not open! They look GREAT however not being able to let fresh air in on those days when it’s nice outside is a no-go for us. Seems like Newmar is going this direction on all of their coaches mountain Aire and above. With comfort drive I feel it’s more beneficial on a non tag coach & often times steering was to overboosted/vague for my liking, several other companies also now offer a similar steering assist. I was also super excited to see they have a 38ft tag mountain Aire with 525HP, on the K3 chassis!!! However the windows do not open.

Is it possible to have a 3 bedroom double decker class A RV at 85 feet long, 12ft wide before expansion and 20 feet high on all floors? With bunk beds on the second floor. Kinda like what the will smith RV look like?
@JohnRoss-w4s4 ай бұрын
Question. If you're going to purchase a coach >40' long, why go with one that's just shy of 42' instead of a 45' coach? The bigger coach will give you more storage, a double vanity in the rear bathroom and I'm sure there are other perks as well. Before anyone claps back with the nasty comments, this is a serious question. I've been doing my homework for months now and appreciate all the insights people are willing to share. Thanks for pointing out some of the things to look for as well.

Great comprehensive review. Newmar has been around a long time and always ranked very high. I guess I’m a little concerned with the change in ownership but time will tell if Winnebago industries leaves Newmar alone or forces Newmar to lower its standards for shareholder value. I love the mountainaire model but I think for $850K, I’d definitely look at a slightly used Prevost or Newell. I’m not knocking Newmar whatsoever so please don’t take this negatively but Personally, one can find an older Country Coach or Monaco high end model that is every bit as good and quality for $150K-$200K and built on a semi monocoque custom chassis instead of a truck chassis. I guess it all depends on how much you want to spend. Great video!

At close to $900K, I would categorize it "high end", no doubt.... or at least... high enough. Maybe I should start playing the lottery, since that is the only way I could afford a decent motorhome and I agree, this one is fantastic. Love the color and layout... jaw dropping. I can see 4 Battle Born 270 Ah Game Changers (or 8Ds) and a Victron Multiplus IIs on that battery tray.

Wow! That coach is stunning! You can tell just from the video the amazing craftsmanship that went into it, which reflects in the price. To get that here in New Zealand, we'd pay at least one and a half mill New Zealand (nz) dollars. And that would be before converting the electrical to nz current. Then converting it to right hand drive for our roads. Nice motor home (r v for Americans). Also, to drive it here, we need a class 2 or 4 license (c d l license. Just not sure how your licenses work sorry).

We looked at a 2022 ‘45 Essex yesterday. I’m a big audio guy, and it only has two small speakers right up front, behind the driver seats? Do none of these coach’s put extra speaker ceilings way in back, like back in bathroom? Or can the Bose sound bars all be made to sync together? Surprised these don’t have distributed audio zone (front/back/outside) for $800K-1M, but maybe the Bose sound bars do it.

Very nice 👍 RV Diesel pusher 😊 I guess you would have to sell your house to BUY one, or just be very rich. Just asking anyone what monthly payments are on her. I watched another video on the outside walk around, don't forget the hot and cold water sprayer ( shower 🚿) in the sewer dump compartment, that can be used to spray out waste that gets inside or on any handles ect. The sales guy made a point of talking about that use of the sprayer. I would have liked to see the ladder set up for the rear door, how that works or is installed. The build of the structure frame is what probably makes the price so high. Can the slide outs be manually pushed back in if there is an electrical problem, if you are out somewhere and Heaven forbid that the slide won't retract, just asking 😊❤😊 I think for that price I am a big rig guy Love my old SeaGrave Fire Engine 🚒 have a CDL that I keep currently, even though I don't drive dump truck anymore I would seriously look at a semi with sleeper, and pull a fifth wheel camper, just saying if I'm basically driving a BUS with this one, I would rather drive a used Volvo or KW semi, that has AIR bag equipped ride, but that is just me, just saying could get a semi with say 100,000 miles on her for quarter of that price, but not everyone wants to drive a big rig pulling there camper still ❤ the inside of her.
