Ladies, if your under 40 you need to advocate for yourself. Most doctors will not take your symptoms seriously. I was talked out of my symptoms for 7 years until I pushed for an ultrasound. From there, it went to biopsy to the cancer diagnosis. Protect yourself and your fertility.

@@P0RTAL_DARKO I had the biopsy on a Wednesday and the cancer notification on that Friday (pre CV19). This was the end of March and I had a total hysterectomy in May. One round of chemo, no radiation.

@@P0RTAL_DARKO for my symptoms, 7 years of progressively heavy periods and clotting. It got to the point that I was bleeding every day to varying degrees. They wrote my symptoms off as due to being overweight and nothing more.

@@whattheelle360 Oh wow ! How are you doing currently? My biopsy was quite fast! It caused cramping but I took it well. My Dr had a heating pad for me to use through the ordeal.

I found this video while trying to justify canceling the hysteroscopy/D&C procedure my doctor wants to do because of thickened endometrium/ heavy bleeding. (it's expensive and I'm broke) I'm grateful i watched it because I changed my mind and will be going through with the surgery after all.

@Selinamulaz I was just diagnosed with endometrial cancer. I'm scared to death! I was contemplating the intrauterine device that they have for the cancer. It releases hormones, and sometimes the cancer will die from those hormones. But I've decided that I don't want to take the chance that the cancer will spread because the IUD didn't work. I am also going through with my surgery. Good luck to you, and God bless.

Did you have the surgery? If so how did it go? I’m in the same boat as you. I have been prolonging hysterectomy and increasing my cancer risk. It’s in Gods hands but I pray for guidance and any advice would be helpful. Blessings to all.

@@Fimp136 I did, and it was super simple. I was a bit sore for a couple of days, but that was all. My doctor removed some benign polyps and lining that hadn't shed. He also found that i have suspected adenomyosis, and a uterine prolapse. The easiest correction for this is hysterectomy which I had a little over two weeks ago. He took my uterus, fallopian tubes, and cervix via robot assisted laproscopy. That was a bigger surgery, and i was pretty miserable for about 5 days, but i feel great now and all my symptoms are gone, including some i didn't know were related to my uterus. I was able to make a payment plan with the hospital for what my insurance didn't cover, and it's not too bad. I'm glad i did what my doctors suggested because my quality of life is so much better.

@@Fimp136hysterectomy can also cause cancers. I had full hysterectomy after clear cell and endometrial cancer. After my hysterectomy 8 months later it came back in my vagina and also a third cancer. Plus they said I might have lung cancer. COVID scarred my lungs bad so they can't tell what the two spots are. I have shortness of breath. I'm dreading chemo. First session is 6 hours long. You sit in a recliner. First given benadryl to calm you then pepcid for acid reflux it can cause. Chemo is every three weeks. If it's to strong then they use the third chemo that is lighter. Not as strong. You go in for intense lab work first to test cells and to see if your immune system can handle chemo. This is my concern. I'm 65. Not strong. Last two destroyed my muscles. Knee surgery,flatlined. Every three weeks chemo for 5 months then every 6 weeks chemo FOR LIFE for my type of cancers.I ended up with these cancers after I had covid. COVID destroys DNA. Killing a protein and causing a mutant gene.

Very interesting. I had none of these symptoms and in the middle of menopause. I got a big surprise when I had a PET scan which showed I likely have uterine cancer along with cancer in lymph nodes by my ear. If I didn't have the PET scan, I would have never known about the uterine cancer. Fair warning for others viewing this video and think they are good-to-go by not having the symptoms described in this video.

My lymph nodes by ear are swollen and every time I would tell Dr’s they would come up with it’s because you were sick as in a cold. This has gone over almost 10 years. Now they think I might have breast cancer. I have lost a lot of weight, no energy at all. I’m going down bad. Lots of luck to you and take care. ❤

If you have fibroids it will be worse. Inconsistent periods can happen, but I know many women that had heavy bleeding until they went through menopause. Explain that?

Im 35 and in less than 8hrs I'll have hysteroscopy/polypectomy procedure. Been having pain/discomfort with bleeding everyday for the past two months. Previously for the past 4-5 yrs had heavier periods. Hopefully all goes well. Had to advocate for myself a little because Dr doesn't think anything could be wrong because of my age. But the sonogram showed something and made him to finally listen.

@@NK_1154 Hi, yes. He was able to remove an uterine myoma. Surgery went well, recovery was pretty quick. Had my first period a little over a month after surgery and it was normal, not too heavy and not too painful.

I had sudden horrendous abdominal pain while walking one day, and later an huge flood of bleeding. For more than two years I had been telling my MD that I could tell there was something wrong with my body, I just did not feel well. all he did was stare at me, and said nothing. I was misdiagnosed twice in a year by another so called 'professional'. 2.5 years later, since my surgery, and radiation, I am down to an Endometrial Cancer recurrence risk of 3%. Vag. vault brachytherapy is nasty and caused Radiation Disease and a host of other issues. I tried meds, Botox, Bulkamid and have an Interstim implant, still have issues. I have changed my diet from Vegetarian to Plant-based whole foods, organic where possible. My Oncologist is totally impressed. She now eats Ezekiel organic sprouted bread like me. Need to focus more on losing more weight and riding my bike. I am in my mid-seventies. Thank you to Dr. Elise for saving my life!

I came here looking for answers after my doctor did an ultrasound and said I have a malignant tumor in my uterus. I think I am in the beginning stages of menopause, been having hot flashes and missing periods. And I am 44 years old. My moms menopause started when she was only 38, so I figured mine would be early too.

Hi I am 44 as well and was diagnosed w uterine cancer, although my tumor wasn't in uterus, the symptoms aren't all the same as my tumor was on the psoas near the lower back, I am responding well to chemo and radiation helped a lot. wishing you the best of luck and prayers, eating well is a big part of it also research dandelion tea, cut out soy and fried foods and carbs if you can

Will it always be seen on ultrasound? I’ve had almost every symptoms for years but I’ve had ultrasounds and they never find anything. I’m 36 and haven’t had a period in 5 months but just started seeing blood when I wipe but no one takes me seriously and insurance denied my cat scan.

ultrasound is not accurate unless already grown into large size. my ultrasound is normal while the biopsy tested cancer

Hi thanks for the information ,,I've a quiz last month I was diagnosed with Endometrisis and in my report they used so many terms like ;Endometrial stripes shows increased echogenicity.,Myometrium is of normal echogenicity n No free fluid is seen at the POD.plz can u tell me the meaning coz my cyst is damaging me coz my periods are very short n are abnormal plus I also have one sided headache and also it's affecting my vagina though I've taken the medication even injection but I'm not getting any better though I'm 22yrs old

How are you ? Looks like high levels of estrogen will cause hyperplasia. I’m 43 and I though was just menopause. I have high estrogen levels but biopsy shows no cancer but doctors said hyperplasia is linked to cancer in the future . She suggested remove of uterus 😢

Did you go for biopsy ? My line was 2 cm . They did biopsy and hormones test . Hormones result is higher estrogens . Biopsy results: metaplasia . No cancer but there are some cell changes could be from high estrogen.

Yes! PUSH/Demand a sonogram and or ultrasound and or a D&C! I was bleeding for 7 months. My Gyno,ordered an ultrasound and a sonogram. She found thickening if the lining and fibroid. My 78 year old mother started bleeding for almost a year (brown spotting) And FINALLY They did a D and C. Came back positive for cancer! Some of these doctors are Lost! Tell your doctor you want to rule out endometrial cancer!!

Get you some garlic pills and see if that works. It took my five day cycle to 3 days. I’m using herbs now and it seems like a lot of the lining is falling out after my ectopic. The doctor doesn’t know what it is.

in case of life-threatening hysterectomy is a necessary solution. But it's a shame that no one has yet dealt with how to replace the functions of the uterus. It is an important organ for intense sexual experiences, for the health of the heart and for the correct position of the organs in the pelvic floor. The uterus is not only for pregnancy. Every woman deserves to have her womb.

Yes..because you are just starting out and its very common for your periods to be irregular then. They should eventually settle into a pattern
