Very informative video. Actually this video happens to see by me late. I already had Gastro trouble & it was detected very late. During this period my swallowing tube got multiple damages. Now i m surviving on TPN Bag food. I can not eat oe drink from mouth as a normal person.

I had done with endoscopy today without sedation ...guys don't get scare it is 2-5 min procedure and I didn't gag a bit as well.. doctor will tell you the instructions when to breathe air through mouth...even I too scared before the test but trust me it is super cool..this is my second test where as first time with sedation in Canada.. I would prefer without sedation to anyone...hope everything will be alright guys..

Possible you might be part of medical mafia.the doctors who keep there face so innocent and write endoscopy ,laparoscopy as it is kind of scan or x-ray. Innocent patients who go for ir trusting there doctor without knowing the pain and side effects, including death.

@@artinshar6974 iam not medical mafia and don't blame others who gave their suggestions to others..what benifit I will get if i advise endoscopy is not painful and If you see comment I mentioned that I had done in Canada as well in past with sedation. You don't scare people the reason why I have posted was even I too scared before after seeing all the people comments and I wanted to give some confidence

@@SivaKumar-pm2zw don't worry doctors are giving confidence and misguidance both to loot money.I have seen enough of doctors whose one eye is always on money.Who has absolutely no mercy on patients. 90 percent of there patients don't need endo or colono but still they suggest.

Strictly speaking, endoscopy is not a procedure related to examination of the upper GI tract ONLY. If you split the word "endoscopy" you will find two terms combined into one - "endo" meaning "internal" and "scopy" meaning visualisation. Therefore, endoscopy is a general term meaning the visualisation of any internal structure. Gastroscopy, bronchoscopy, colonoscopy, laryngoscopy etc. are all different kinds of endoscopy.
