I am a donor of my father. We done our transplant at Chennai Dr Rela. Information I would like to share below Cost: 25 to 35 lakhs (civil or other private hospitals has lower cost also) I was discharged in 7 days (2-3 days in icu and 3-4 days in ward) My father (recipient) 20-25 days due to complication it took few more days I was getting tired initially for 1 month. Full recovery time for donor 2-4-6 months. It’s been a year now. I am completely like before. Back to 100% My father lost so much weight so it took him like 3 months to get normal and 6 months to feel good. Transplant is worth. Don’t go for Aruveda n all. Don’t be late. Take infection seriously until 1-2-3 months at least. Avoid meeting people
