Yes, volumetric flow is the primary measurement of Prosonic Flow instruments.

Thanks for your interest in our Prosonic Flow clamp-on line. Together with the flowmeter, a ruler (or mounting rail) that has numbers on the left and letters on the right side is provided (see video minute 4.55). So, a specific letter-number combination corresponds to a specific distance between the sensors. The transmitter will show both, the letter-number code and the distance in millimeters. This ruler ensures the right distance between the sensors and simplifies the installation process. A measuring tape can also be used. Let us know if you have further questions.

Va a depender de los viajes, y eso te lo da el instrumento en las coordenadas de la regla ej: B 28, luego la regla se instala en los soportes de los sensores, el instrumento además te entrega la distancia en Inch or milimeters. Un poco tarde la respuesta!! ja ja

The distance between sensors depends on many factors like pipe material, wall thickness as well as liner material and thickness. Your Prosonic flowmeter will guide you through the installation.

The distance between sensors is adjusted differently depending on one or two traverse measurement. In the case of one traverse, the distance between sensors and the cable length are displayed in millimeters. In the case of two traverse measurement, the distance between sensors is displayed in millimeters or can optionally be adjusted with the help of a ruler that is sent to you with the device. The device gives out the correct holes you need to use for adjusting, as explained from 4:37 in the movie.
