I generally like your interviews but you guys were too obsequious. You didn't push back on anything just accepted as gospel all he said. For example there are as many countries where tertiary education is free including most of the European Union or heavily subsidised as in Canada or studenta are given long term loans like in the UK and USA. He is not a font of irrefutable wisdom. His advocacy that many state and federal institutions be repaired through private enterprise including the laughable suggestion that lawyers should donate to the rebuilding of police stations went by without any pushback from you. I have never felt disappointed before by your interviews but this was way below your standards. Disappointing...

I disagree with you on university education should be free, even US you are referring to government do give loan but the student start paying back when he or she starts work, that means is not free,
@fortunateolasunbo99883 жыл бұрын
As far as I know the education in America is free for public schools and they also have private schools and uni students are given a loan which has to be paid back and sometimes it free depending where you decided to go. Not like Nigeria where the public school(primary and secondary) are always on strike because the government refused to pay the teacher salary.

You can’t separate the Federal government’s responsibility from state affairs, even when it involves *Privatisation. In everything the bucks stops with the *Federal Government in it’s capacity as the *Overuling Government Body.

Too much grammar, give him any responsibility he will mess it up. Theory theory professors. He was the minister of Works and Transport during Presd. Obasanjo's administration. When the then Finance Minister Md. Ngozi Iweala took some Ministers to Brussels to go negotiate for the cancellation of Nigerian debt, he chickened out at the spot of presentation when he realised he had nothing to convince creditors with. He was too ashamed of himself when diplomats berated him with the poor quality of roads he came to show as why Nigeria need the debts to be cancelled. Even the magazine he printed to show off his good works was too local and poorly printed with low quality paper with blurry pictures. The roads he was boasting with were an eyesore with red earth covering most part of the roads. When he came back to Nigeria after that trip, Presd. Obasanjo relieved him fro his post. Now he is running his mouth again like an expert. We keep wondering why Nigeria is not moving forward. Incompetent grammar speaking leaders everywhere
