I really liked Hades’ EX, with the 3 phases and really felt like they should’ve tried to replicate that in to Endsinger’s theme and mechanics. Even if the phase transitions make farming an absolute pain in the ass it would’ve still been really sick to have at least a phase 2 in the EX.

Not including With Hearts Aligned in the Extreme was a sin. I'd have loved it if they added a third phase with the scions. It's an epic finale that needed it. Hades ex is probably why we didn't get another phase though. It was a tad long.

When ppl say they hate this wass't on the EX version i think you all miss the point of this song. This played cause we made DESPAIR falter. In the minstrel ballad Despair didn't falter and stayed strong. Hence why our song plays when everyone praying but when you look into her eyes it shows her resolved didn't falter causing her song to drown out our theme. Hence why we dont get a buff against her cause her despair was too strong. Symbols people pay attention Minstrel Ballads tend to twist reality.

@@loomingdeath1758 I'm aware of what the extreme fights are. It's a different story and seeing as it is a story it could have been written better. If they had wanted to they could have added the song, but didn't. They could have had the fight start from the top then lead into phase two. Our song plays, but we don't defeat her there. A third phases comes with a new rendition of the final day. My guess is they made the fight shorter due to hades being so long, and they didn't want to repeat that. While it is quicker to farm the price is a less epic finale.

I think this is the only time in a game where I felt the antagonist was actually fighting us, and not us them. It felt good to be the unstoppable force of nature, for despair to fail against the sheer might of our hope and light.
