A masterpiece. There are very few artists that after 44 years can come up with something like this. It shouldn't actually be possible, but Robert Smith is in a league of his own

He is literally giving away a piece of his soul to us listeners in this one. Most of the popular artists nowadays are nothing more than performers/entertainers. That's why such acts like the Cure can pull massive crowds even after 40 years as performing artists.

Lyrics (open to corrections) Yeah, I’m outside in the dark Staring at the blood red moon Remembering the hopes and dreams I had All I had to do I wonder what became of that boy In a world he called his own Yeah, I’m outside in the dark Wondering how I got so old It’s all gone (x2) Nothing left of what I want Nothing's ??? It’s all gone (x3) No hopes, no dreams, no world??? I don’t belong, I don’t belong here anymore It’s all gone (x2) I will lose myself in time, won’t give up It’s all gone (x3) Left alone with nothing The end of every song Left alone with nothing The end of every song Left alone with nothing, nothing

So refreshing to hear you say that! :) Yeah, the thing that I've had the least patience with is all the impatience and "are we there yet" like three-year-olds in the back seat, from the people who want things yesterday. I always thought good things take time and that I'd rather they take another year or two over it and do a job they're totally happy with, than end up with bad mixing or takes that could have been better or stuff that is going to bother them down the track. Because that's the thing people don't think about - it's not just what you get, it's also what they have to live with as the final studio version of the work in development.

The quality of these two tracks I would go so far as to say they're better than anything that's come off of the last two albums.. let's just hope whatever producer they've chosen is not going to butcher the hell out of this album like they did the last two

The Cure are the masters of creating radiance through the melancholy. I feel this song in my gut. Play it loud, close your eyes, and allow this song to consume you. Like so many other Cure tracks, it simultaneously rips me apart while mending me back together. These new songs sound like they’re cut from the Wish album or some of their other masterpieces. Excited for the new album. Thank you for sharing.

I was there, my very first cure show. Thank you for such a good quality and filming the song in its entirety. I’m rewatching over and over, crying more each time

after hearing all three songs and hoping thing will ever be the same are on the new album I can say it is beautiful, heartfelt, honest and ]is raw with emotion and pain. It will be great to hear this album, but you will cry and be emotion when it all done. I am now 48 just months away from retirement in the military. I have lost some friends an family during that time and these songs say how I have felt since losing my loved ones and wanting to hold on to those loved ones that are still with me and knowing I have less time in front of me an more time behind me. Robert has been able to express the feelings I have at this point in my life. Thanks Robert this album will bring comfort to know someone is thinking and feeling the same way.

Thanks for upload 🙏 Sounds much better than last 3 albums. Sound like Bloodflowers era a bit.

You don't seem to know what you're talking about: Bloodflowers is part of those last three albums... Besides, if you had REALLY listened to them, you hadn't posted what you just did; their are great in their own way. 🤦‍♂

@@maxmordon7295 You don't know what you're talking about mate. I've seen the Cure every tour since the Prayer Tour in 1989 and the last two albums were fucking awful.

@@robertmead6606 Sure, I have no idea at all... unlike you, such an "individual" who appreciates, understands and enjoys both The Cure (the album and the band) and 4:13 Dream. Cheers, pseudo-fan. 😉
