It's yet another compression test, this time on the TE72 Toyota Corolla Liftback. After getting it back from Speed Sport Technologies where they built a roll cage and exhaust for the car, we set about fitting the seats, repairing a few engine items and finding out the ugly truth.

I hate that compression tester.... The news is never good. Nice to see the progress, it would have been nice to be there with you guys and point out a few obvious things like... Thermostat housing..... THERMOSTAT housing ..... Thermostat ?

Thermo housing is pointing to the need to fit new radiator or flush The compression test says now is the time for high comp flat top pistons

I like this man.... Iv been singing the high comp pistons with the cam song since we got the car..we run 95 octane now days, gone are the days of 83 and 87 octane fuel.. Now just help me convince the other 3

if you can get compression to the 11-12:1 region you will have a nice peppy motor coupled with a coolant system refresh and then it will be competitive
