I beleive you must first resist temptation by yourself alone for a while to receive the grace of gods armor that lets you not need to resist anymore cause theres not even temptation anymore. Like for example you see a big ice cream sandwich everyday, then it turns into a big Fly Maggot, you will be grossed out not even tempted to eat it
