Funny to see that you`ve got a stiffy with that Norco... whereas you have Stanton in UK for a quite a long time and they actually do excellent aggressive hardtails like that... Norco is kind of a follower, nothing else, and it uses normal CroMo when Stanton uses Reynolds ;)

Whats the advantage of a mullet bike???
@Krikstar1235 жыл бұрын
Advantages: More nimble at low speed without loosing on stability at high speed. Better turn in/easier to engage the turn More stable when leaned over in turns You don't hit your rear tire as easily with your bum on steep descends ;-) Easier to drift through corners Disadvantages: Haven't found any so far. Except lack of available bikes/frames, but that will hopefully change as mullet bikes keep winning races ;-) Tubes? No! 27.5 tubes will fit a 29" as well, so no need to have two spare tubes with you.Roll over? Not really! As the rear wheel is being dragged over obstacles opposed to the front wheel that get pushed into obstacles, the difference in roll over on the rear isn't nearly as big as you would think. To test this and see for yourself: Try to take your bike to a curb. Without sitting on the bike and without lifting it, roll it over the curb. Feel how much it takes to get the front over compared to the rear wheel. The same thing happen when you ride and that's why the 27,5 in the rear isn't nearly as much of a disadvantage in rolling resistance as you would think. The advantages far outweigh them any day especially for gravity oriented bikes such as AM, Enduro, DH. XC will probably still benefit from full on 29" unless they one day go for 32/29 or something like that ;-)

#AskGMBN #AskGMBNTech Advice for stopping the bike and components start to rust? I live in the coastal area so salt is always in the air etc. I clean, dry and lube my bike yet this doesn't stop the rusting. The bike is always stored in a garage, noticed my chain, cassette and even my rotor has some rust.

I have a Meta ht in M size and I'm 1.80cm. I would definetly reccomend a S if you are planing to do some jibbing and jumping, but if your plan is to have a longer more stable bike then get the M. By the way is great bike, I'm really enjoying it.

Tell my ‘97 vintage BMW TMX with 26” f 24” rear on seismic hubs and super monster t it’s dead and it’ll no be happy.
@Krikstar1235 жыл бұрын
You obviously know nothing. 69'ers died because the difference in wheel size was way too big for them to ever work + they couldn't even get a 29'er to handle right at that time! MX motorcycles has run different sized wheels for what? 50 years now - because it works! Bike industri and their backward thinking customers are years behind as always. If anything is going to kill mullet bikes it's marketing/peoples inability to understand them, like you so blatantly display here.
