THe trans Trixie thing is just a fan theory. If you look closely you can notice that male ponies have that one blind spot in thei eyes while mares have 2 white spots with ONE exception in the entire show (Trixie)

If her character was changed from male to female before the show even started it doesn't count as her being trans. It just means the creators changed their minds about Trixie being male and made her female instead. It doesn't mean the character is trans. The creators were probably just too lazy to change it before she debuted and decided to keep it like that because it looks good, and they most likely didn't think anyone would care to much about her eyes. I hate when people spread misinformation like that. Those types of people spreading misinformation in fandoms are always trying to give non-human characters races, sexuality, or transgenderism, disabilities, ect to seem more diverse. But all they are doing is setting people up for disappointment when they find out it isn't canon. So, it's not only stupid, but also just plain mean. They love to use info from before the show even started that got scraped as evidence, so it never even makes any sense either.

Trixie originally being meant to be a stallion isn't a theory, it's just true. She was originally designed as a stallion, but was changed to be a mare before her character was finalized. Her being _trans_ is a theory, which takes into account that little factoid plus the other things you mentioned, as well as a tweet from Lauren Faust where she said one of the characters in season 1 is trans.

Well, it's not canon that it's Trixie so people need to stop spreading misinformation. Plus, the VA has no say in what a certain character is or does, they just voice them. So, people need to stop looking to the VAs for information. I don't know why people look to the VAs of characters for factual info about characters when they have no say. It makes no sense. I think she’s the one learning her element the most, like applejack and rainbow dash have moments where they don’t follow their elements. (PARAGRAPH INCOMING SORRY FOR THE INFODUMP) i love these vods a lot bc i like seeing people get into mlp but i have to say, i really don't like the misinformation that chat is giving aimsey. i have been watching mlp g4 since it came out, and i am a lore lover (lore keeper?). there are a lot of things that are "word of god"- non-canon things said by the creator(s), writers, and VAs during or after the show aired. some are popular fan-theories/headcanons. some are just straight up wrong, stuff people took for being canon with ZERO confirmation. its okay too like these things, but its not okay to tout them like they're true. trixie is (unfortunately) NOT canonically trans. its a popular headcanon/fan-theory based on a few things. firstly, trixies eyes resemble that of (SOME) other male ponies in the show. one eye shine/ white spot and none of those little catch light things (the lines in their iris tahts a similar colour to their eyes.) the other thing is that trixie was initially pitched by lauren faust (the creator) as a stallion, but was later changed to a mare. so the popular headcanon was born. i love this headcanon. its canon TO ME, but i know as a "lore keeper" i do have to keep my personal canon separate from real canon when people ask me for mlp lore.
