Hello Arijit Sir I am pleased to watch your lecture again and I have a Question- 1) If electron has some probability of being found in any orbital Then Nucleus also should have some probability to be found away from centre , even outside the atom or at infinity? 2) Can electron and nucleus of an atom have the probability of being found at one point in space? If it is possible then atom has some probability of being collapsed by the collision between electron and nucleus(they both will collide due to very strong ELECTROMAGNETIC Forces)? Nucleus is the sole reason why an atom exists ... It holds electrons and the election holds it .. Just like the solar system so a nucleus cannot jump into or replicate from the centre as the universe still exists we assume that nothing of that sort ever happens ... Also , it has to have quantum charge energy but we already Know that it's neutral

Nucleus is always at the centre and all the probability densities of all the electrons are around the nucleus and away from it , nucleus is fixed as u get to know by rutherford's nuclear model. Hope i am correct, correct me if i am wrong!

​@@mamatharaghu4319 Also electrons show momentum (particle nature) and according to Heisenberg the exact momentum and exact position of minute particle like electron cannot be known simultaneously. However nucleas doesn't have any momentum (unless it forms chemical bonds) and hence there is no need of finding probability of nucleas .

From duel nature of matter , &= h/mv .. Which can be put together as when a body of mass is smaller ,an electron i supposed will generate a higher or larger wavelengths of radiation or waves As & is inversely proportional to mass ...since, h is Plank's constant .. So , the question is ; what type of radiation will it emit? Keeping aside matter waves .. i just wanna know if it has any general characteristics

@atul desai To understand this you have to first consider penetration power of orbital(that is measure of closeness or nearness to nucleus).From Radial probability's function graph we find a value called r avg. from that we measure penetration power.so we find that electrons in 4s are closer to nucleus than 3d (although by seeing boundary surface diagram it appears 4s should be farther away than 3d,But no boundary surface just covers region of 90% of total probability it does not show where electron on an average could be found.where electron on avg could be found is at r avg)due to 3d electrons are repelled by 4s,3p,3s,2p,2s,1s but 4s electrons are repelled only by inner electrons that is 3p,3s,2p,2s,1s so from this we can say net attractive force is less on 3d than 4s hence 3d electrons are less bound as compared to 4s.so 3d have more energy(less negative energy ) than 4s.Hope it helps you
