I have always struggled with physics and despite how many revision guides I scrutinised and how many videos I watched my learning would simply not consolidate. Until I came across your videos. They are splendid. I have a Gcse physics exam tomorrow and I don't know what I would have done without you. You have my sincerest gratitude for your service to all students out there. Please carry on making these videos as you do not know the change you are making. Thank you once again.

Thank you so much for the time and effort you have put into these videos, they have truly helped me! I didn't like physics before as I thought it was hard and way too mathematical, however with the help of your videos I have started to enjoy this subject!

I LOVE PHYSICS!!! Like I am working on designing a thermal flask as a group project, so here I am now learning this again and figuring out how can I make it better ....

Quick question Dr. physics: If energy cannot be created or destroyed then how the heck do we have energy in the first place?
@bufferoverflow51

It means that more/new energy(other than What exists) cannot be created and the existing energy cannot be destroyed(but can probably be converted into another form. How energy originated is not known, as far as I know.

+Tee Kay A source of energy sends the energy away from the source as a kinetic energy which can be trapped by your device like a wind turbine and converted to transferred energy to the generator that makes electricity.

That isn't really what is meant by that quote. In theory, the universe's total energy equals 0. The very very simplified version is: there is positive energy and there is negative energy. These cancel each other out. I'm not going to go in-depth about it, but if you're really interested, you can either read Stephen Hawking's "A brief history of time", or look it up on the internet.

Wind that meets a resistant turbine blade transfers the energy that it exerts to the blade in direct proportion to the percentage of resistance the turbine blade provided to the wind. Thus a wind turbine blade must be made to a maximum resistant design not the slicing the air blades of the present popular design in wind turbines.

Is magnetic a type of energy?

You can certainly have magnetic energy, in the same ways you can have electrical energy and gravitational energy. These come in the form of potential energy.

Hello sir, I have got a query: You say that energy cannot be lost but in several questions it says that energy is lost as heat energy. Could you please explain it to me? Thanks.

Rajat Goorbin In classical physics energy can be neither created nor destroyed. But it can move from one form to another e.g. from potential energy to kinetic energy. It can also change to heat energy. It may be that that energy is “lost“ because nothing useful can be done with it but the energy still exists albeit in a non-useful form.

I got exam in a couple weeks time but I'm twelve and were only starting energy so would I be wasting time or should I watch more for future purposes

Good luck in the exam. Probably best to focus on the material for the exam first. But wider reading/watching is always helpful if you want to take this subject at higher levels.

+DrPhysicsA hi .. ((Energy can't be created or destroyed?)) agree or disagree pls answer

In the usual classical sense agree. Tho it can of course be converted to different forms. In quantum sense it can be created or "borrowed" from nothing as long as it is "paid back" very quickly.

If you had a smaller house you would increase your surface area to volume ratio 😂 otherwise really helpful
