I wonder if builders, architects & home buyers will ever go for 1930's-Hollywood-style (or Downton-Abbey-format) mansions ever again? Don't know if patience with & craftsmanship for that type of blueprint work can be duplicated in 2023. However, Disney-Universal theme parks do some of that. The contemporary vertical box design is very clean & super slick, but it pings a different vibe than Hearst-Castle-type architecture. I also wonder if builders like Nosrati ever lobby the city to underground nearby utility equipment?

As always, love the video. Incredible tour. Some critical feedback moving forward at the 11:30 mark about amenities. It was off putting to hear “for example, you and I” and it cuts to the theater room, but when it comes to “the wife or her” you show the fridge and the laundry room. This reinforces the idea that women are to clean up and provide while the mean sit back and relax. Hope you’ll consider this moving forward. Keep up the great work.

This style home is not entirely my personal aesthetic, however I can appreciate the level of detail and care that went into the interior design and expertise it takes to get something like this to work and flow. the house is fantastic but for almost all these properties I can never see them as homes suitable for children, maybe I'm tragic and scary but I only see dangers, children falling from open stairs, children drowning in swimming pools and spaces so large that they dying before reaching them, children falling down from all these floors outside and many other traps, terraces, balconies, fire, saunas, sorry I'm just scary but I see them as houses for adults and that's it

The primary shower is the size of my entire bathroom, and the bathroom itself is the size of about 1/3 of my house. Love to dream of such luxury. But as always with these homes, I'd be outside at the pool or jacuzzi most of the time.

Yes, another innovative marble villa checking all the boxes except one. parking, the person that would own this house will have more than 3 cars. probably a lot more. and they are vehicles that need proper garaging. also guest parking although i'm sure there is a large business in valet service. underground is most likely the only solution if allowed. the drive leading back to and under the sports courts would be the perfect place for this. otherwise these homes are the natural direction and answer to west LA and Beverly Hills, only time will tell if they age as well as Spanish Revival, Mid Century, or Hollywood Regency. i believe they will.

Guys, moss is another great selling point for this house: Moss is a natural absorber of pollutants in the air and they produce more oxygen as well as get rid of carbon better than any plants. This increases the health and well-being of those living in the house!

Deja vu, I thought you already reviewed this house. Maybe it was someone else or instagram. It's a very nice house, good size lot, great feel, particularly if you like the privacy but zillow the znitch told me it's not that super premium location so it might not warrant the 2000$/sqft price tag. May have to come down before it sells, especially in this 7.5% interest rate climate. There is a surprising percentage of very high cost developments that never sell and are just pulled off the market after a couple of years rather than price them to sell. And it's not like they are under water and have to sell at a loss, they just want 3x price it seems :) and it can't be healthy. Particularly Malibu seems to be entertaining illusions. If that house actually sold for 200mill to Beyonce and Jay Z, that's a movie script. That was a heist.

these developers always use the cheapest labour and material when they can. Unfortunately they know little about TASTE and quality. Which is why all these homes look so eerily similar. They should find their soul and then create new things but alas, here I AM!!! hahaha :D NO more room for these cookie cutter, cheap around the edges type builders. They bring down the value.

I'm not usually a fan of these modern spec houses but this one is beautiful - top to bottom! The huge moss canyon is a little much for me. I don't dislike it but I wouldn't mind the house without it either. Overall it's one of my favorite houses you've toured - and I've seen them all!
