Their SHOULD be a minimum height requirement if girls are going to be sent home for being too short. I felt sorry for Ari who was very talented then let go at the last stage with no reason to her face but because she was too short as discussed behind the scenes.

Yes, it's a shame, but if a person is not short but too short, they could end up falling at the whole dance, for example, because they can't keep up, that would be like a domino effect in the end, they wouldn't forgive themselves for it. That would be much worse! They should require a minimum height but it was unfair. They could have been regulated more compassionately and let them dance at least once at dances where they don't dance together. Well maybe God has something else in store for you girl, keep your head up❣

I wish weight wasn’t an issue! I understand they want a girl who looks good in the uniform, but I think back to Alex, she was beautiful and had a body most women would kills for, but because she wasn’t a size 0/2, she was considered heavy. That’s so sad. It should be about them being a good dancer.

​​​@@EmelyPhanThey do way more than that. They told one girl her legs looked like drumsticks, another that she had a thutt (thighs and butt running together). They even go so far as to tell girls that they look like trashy strippers. Many of them end up with mental problems and eating disorders.

DCC is just like company principle dancers. As a dad I had my 3 sons dance in big city nutcracker ballet as kid performers and l never knew what athletes the company dancers are, wow, RESPECT. They make it look so easy, like any top athletes. Take your average person to tryouts and we'd be laughing. Netflix needs to do it again next year, I'm hooked in a nice way. Now my fantasy foitball team has to have a cowboy!

Hopefully the documentary results in a much needed backlash against the Dallas Cowboys for exploiting talented & athletic women who are inadequately compensated for the marketing & branding of the DC billion-dollar football business. The culture of being "America's Sweethearts" sets the stage for young women affected by the need to be "people-pleasers" to be exploited. Pay the ladies what they're worth! Even the mascot makes more. Give the female cheerleaders continuing contracts at fair market value in the same way that the male football players are compensated.
