Amen to this..I grew up a quiet person but at 40yrs when I went home sick hoping for emotional support from my mom,this was the treatment I got,and I also gave her a piece of my mind and even reminded her of the abuse she's been doing to us since we were young... Guess what, everyone said I was disrespecting her and I was loosing it,to a point where they called ambulance and police to come take me to mental institution cz she also lied and said I beat her up but God being God those ppl when they arrived,they didn't take me cz they saw that she was lying,my kids almost lost their mother bcz of her lies,I could be locked up there for nothing. She fought for my assets as if I was dead already, I built her the same home she was calling police for kuthi ngihambe after she saw that her lies failed. If Brenda's mom had dementia I believe Brenda would be intelligent enough to know, this is her own mother who raised her, she would spot a change in her behavior instantly because that's what dementia does, it changes your character (in some people) but you can't assume she has dementia simply because she's displaying aggressive behavior towards Brenda without knowing her past, what if she's always been like this?
