Walk around Everman Fire Department’s #Enforcer 107’ #AscendantLadder with Chief Landon Whatley. The #AerialLadder is equipped with a PACCAR MX-13 engine for ease of maintenance and the get up and go responsiveness. Rubber wheel well covers provide durability and reduce wear and tear from instances such as scrapes. A Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) graphic is located outside of the compartment where the team’s equipment will be stored for universal accessibility. The EMS compartment on the officer’s side will contain a refrigerator to store ice and refreshments, along with rehab supplies. The ladder is equipped with an upgraded nozzle and elevated standpipe. #EvermanTX is a rural area, so scene lighting was added on all sides of the apparatus including the tip of the ladder.
